Is it dielectric or not?

I wish the packaging would say "Dielectric" anywhere on it. It is confusing because I was going to return this item until I saw online that this same sku# item is said to be dielectric in the online product description. I need dielectric because the standard nipple used by a previous plumber corroded to the point of dripping & spraying water on the wall in only 3 years of this water heater's installation, unlike the brass & copper connections coupled with it. What makes it dielectric anyway...
