What Customers Are Saying
The Electric Start Drill Bit is a convenient tool that reliably starts gas-powered lawn and garden equipment with just a few turns of a power drill. Customers report it saves them from the strain of repeatedly pulling a starter cord, especially those with physical limitations. Most reviews highlight the product's quick and reliable performance in starting trimmers, blowers, edgers, and other small engines. However, some users have experienced durability issues, with the bit breaking after a few months of use.

Would RecommendI have a Troy Bilt gas trimmer that has sat for 3 years. I tried to start it with no luck by hand for 2 days. I looked for the plug in starter and came across this little gem. I figured if it didn't work I could just return it. the trimmer started right up! I will never pull the string again!
must needed attachment!
Would RecommendI bought this quick start drill bit after pull cord broke. I should've bought this long ago. It makes quick and easy starts. No more hard starting. It starts up every time!
broke after less than a year
Would Not RecommendWas trying to start my Troy Bilt TB6044XP 4 stroke triimmer and the shaft part that goes into the trimmer snapped off.
Works great
Would RecommendMy back is loving this, can't believe I just found this after years of doing the lawn.
Handy gadget
Would RecommendGreat product to avoid trying to use the pull start
Troybilt saviour
Would RecommendA friend had a brand new Troybilt edger that would not start. Pull start with the rope seem to be cruel & unusual. Got this drill starter. Put a DeWalt 20v drill on setting #3 & that cheap piece c.... started. Worked perfect, the bearing on the bit makes starting a cheap piece of c... so much easier. I definitely would recommend this to anyone who ownes a cheap piece of c...!
saving my bad right shoulder!
Would RecommendApproximately 2 years ago l purchased a Craftsman lawn edger from Lowe’s in Katy, TX. This is a small, basic push device that meets my needs well. It has a 1 cylinder 4 stroke engine which means “ no mixing oil & gas. I use 89 octane in it which provides a little more power and keeps the valves and engine cleaner. The engine is hand started with a rope and can sometimes be difficult to start, especially if the engine is hot or stalls. Ther is an optional rechargable hand held starter for it, but...
Best thing EVER!
Would RecommendSaved my shoulder starting my Troy-Bilt cultivator with Jump Start at the start of the season. Attach this to your drill motor and start with ease.
