27-Ton Gas Log Splitter a win-win

Would Not RecommendFirst of all the tires (probably like most stock tires) are very low quality. One tire blew with hardly any miles on it and under recommended mph. The other tire just fell apart. I take good care of my equipment so this splitter has not be neglected. Right now for whatever reason the machine will only run properly on full choke. Would RecommendAfter splitting a cord of wood I found it starts easy, runs well and is a good buy for the price. The leg on the tongue could be a little more substantial. Only a couple of time did it hesitate on logs that were a little green. Usually starts on first or second pull.

Would RecommendThis is a good log splitter but before you buy this splitter or others like it you should know about the hydraulic fluid. The Shell hydraulic fluid is not sold in box stores. You have to get the hydraulic fluid from a store that specializes in bulk lubricants. The local store in my area only sells five gallon buckets($65).
