Good product, but warped ends
Would RecommendBoards worked fine to replace an aging deck. We had these delivered by Lowe’s. Delivery was on time and courier was helpful. However, many of the boards were warped on both ends which resulted in a loss of about 15% of material which was unusable. If you have the means, recommend going to Lowe’s and picking out your boards in person.

Would RecommendI used the TREX deck to cover a patio cover top since we don't stand on it and I'm tired of painting it every 6 years due to the harsh sunlight. Would RecommendThe trex product is heavy and durable. I used almost the entire length of the boards which made it difficult because the ends were curled up for about a foot. The Trex screws strip easily so you need to be careful. It is a good product with a few negatives.

The extra cost for Trex is worth it.
Would RecommendThis material is easy to work with for layout and cutting to size. The clips keep spacing equal and holds the material in place. The drawback to this material is having to flatten the ends of the boards prior to installing. Sitting to long on a rack causes (I believe) the ends to curve up. Apply heat to the ends, add weight until cooled down. Overall, Trex is easy to use and looks great.

Damaged boards.
1 damaged board was noticed upon loading. When I got home, I noticed 2 other boards deeper in the stack were also scratched and gouged. It wasn’t noticeable when the order was loaded, only after the bundle was unstrapped and boards were taken off the top.
