Works well however, the one drawback is the lack of mixing pumps usually supplied with their kits. Makes for weighing and mixing a pain. I will continue too buy this product especially when their mixing pumps are back in stock.

Would RecommendMy 14 year old son and I build a wooden flat boat and used the Total Boat 5:1 Epoxy Kits to fiberglass the bottom and half way up the sides. The boat is 14 foot 9 inches long and 48 inches across the bottom with sides of 20 inches. We fiberglasses approximately 85 square feet of the boat bottom and sides with 2 oz fiberglass fabic. We were able to saturate the fabric and apply 2 additional coats of epoxy using every drop from the gallon of resin and hardner. Having never attempted any fiberglass...

Would RecommendOverall I am happy with the cost and performance of the Total Boat epoxy set compared to the option of West System 5:1; however, the bottle for the hardener is large compared to how much volume actual hardener comes with the kit. It is almost ridiculous the height (low) of the hardener in the bottom of the bottle. So, it is difficult for the pump to pick up the hardener off the flat bottom of the bottle when getting low. I was unable to use all of the epoxy since I could not pump the appropriate...

Would RecommendThis is the third 5-gal TotalBoat epoxy kit I've bought in the last year. We are refitting our sailboat for a long cruise (pandemic allowing...). I like the product itself and prefer the greater viscosity over West Systems for laminating, especially if vertical or sloping surfaces are included, as they don't tend to drain as bad before setup. Would RecommendMy 2 year old supply finally ran out, so I ordered more. This is wonderful stuff to have around. I've used it for crack repair in my driveway, rotted wood in my camper, tightening loose knots in my deck. and lots of other repair jobs.

Would RecommendThis product delivers every time. Even if I miscount the pumps or the pumps spurts a bit and the mix is off a bit, it will cure and harden. I have not had any issues after ordering this kit 4 or 5 times to build my boat.
