What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise these composite shims for outperforming wood alternatives—they don't split, warp, or degrade, making them ideal for doors, windows, cabinets, and subfloors. Reviewers highlight their stackability, precise 1/16" adjustments, smooth insertion, and durability in damp environments. Many appreciate the ease of use and keep multiple packs on hand. Some report inconsistent breaking or snapping, and a few note the flat shape requires stacking rather than gradual adjustment. Overall, most consider them the most reliable shim option available.

Consistency is key
Would RecommendA finer fit than a traditional wedge shim. Can’t get that thin and even with a wood shim

Door shims.
They are door hinge shims. They work like they are supposed to! What more is there to say?

Good product with one drawback
Would RecommendI like the flexibility of the thickness of the shim. I was not a fan of how difficult they are to snap off once installed. I had to cut the excess off with a small saw.

Sturdy and perfect for the job
Would RecommendUsed these shims to elevate a baseboard slightly above ground level prior to attaching it to the wall. They were sturdy, held in place, and cheap so perfect for this job.
