Ice does NOT Break when it falls

This was a deal breaker for me. The ice does not break when it falls. I debated buying a new unit or repairing my old GE ice maker. I decided to invest in a new one. Huge mistake. This is a nice looking unit. I did like a lot about it. Louder than our old unit which I could have lived with. But you have to break up the ice with a metal scooper. If you aren't constantly break it they tend to freeze together. I had to return it after 30 days of frustration. Our previous unit did not hav...

Nice Unit

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Unit met or exceed most expectations. Hookup was simple I located next to wash machine to share water and drain connections. Noise level is acceptable. One’drawback, considering that this is a higher end brand I would think it would warrant a braided stainless waterline instead of the cheaper plastic line that was included.

Great machine!

Bought it in February. Makes ice quick and it tastes great! About half the price of any other competitor ice machines.

Great ice maker

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far the ice maker is doing great. We have had it for a day and it is making ice fast. The ice is clear. The noise level is about like a dishwasher. It seems to be keeping the ice frozen in the bin.

I love ice and I live at the beach so having ice readily available in a large amount is important. This product is great. It's only slightly louder than the dishwasher whish was super important to me. I am so thrilled with this purchase.

Sleek and stout

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just installed the 15” ice maker from Thor. Looks incredible! Fit and finish seems well put together. The blue LED lighting inside is stunning. Waiting on the ice cubes to see if they are up to the same level as the look of this ice maker.

It’s pretty, but

We’ve had this ice maker for about 2 months. It’s pretty. Love the blue light. Makes lots of ice. Problem is - it’s so loud. It’s in our dining room and it sounds like we have a loud fan running ALL THE TIME. If you’re putting this outside I don’t think it would be an issue. Also - it makes 1” cubes of ice. They are soft cubes if that makes sense. Easily crunched in your mouth right out of the machine. However, this ice doesn’t last long in a drink!

We go through two bins of ice every day . The ice maker is always full when the queen Summons me to replenish her ice water . This machine is a beast !!
