Not Perfect but close.

I bought two. On as a full length computer desk and cut the other, smaller desk top for the wife and a work table for the garage. Each had one side that was 99.9% perfect. Small chip which a filled with a piece from the slight splinter that occurred when cutting. Other side of each had empty knots, knots, divits. One edge on one board had a slight depression, probably from mishandling in a jointer. Small enough to plane/sand out and that edge faces the wall. Also one of the boards making up ...

It is a great vounter top. Lots of mineral oil to seal it brings out the true colors of the word beautiful piece

Beautiful countertops

We made a 5 foot and 18 inch countertop out out this and what was left over was perfect for a centerpiece on our table. It is beautiful. The sink is from a 6 foot special order of the same butcher block pattern that's why I added it. It's just beautiful.

Great but

Holding up great using it as a workbench however when I unwrapped it 2 inches on the end was split at the glue joint

Installed two of these as shop work benches.

VERY heavy and seem to be well constructed. I wanted a nice thick wood bench top so I can bolt things down like a vice, saws and so on. These seem to be the perfect pick. A little pricey but they are already sanded and ready to use so I opted to pay a little extra for the convenience. All in all, very happy with my choice.

I wood buy again

Countertop came well wrapped and edges were protected nicely. One side was blemish free, the other had a couple of small knots that you wouldn't want showing on the top. Pieces were well joined. Beautiful variation of light colors after oiling.

Purchased the 72x39 butcher block to use as a desk top. It worked perfectly. I applied a custom epoxy and built a custom frame and now have the most unique desk and couldn’t be happier.

Great countertop option

I have used these butcher block countertops twice now in homes i am remodeling and they are ao great. They look great and are easy to install. I have seen them done with straight cuts to meet corners but if you find a knowledable contractor like we have, a miter in the corners looks really nice. The homes we remodeled were both 1940s and these fit the style perfectly. Highly recommend!!!

Worked well for what I needed. Sanded and sealed easily and looks fab.

Just what I needed

This was just the size I needed for a table top. Quality was good and it finished beautifully. Excellent value for the price. I would have giving it a five star rating, but there was one small gap between the boards on the top.

Wife Loves It!

This butcher block was the perfect size for our island project. Quality of the product and the service of our local store came together.

Solid

The top is solid wood and has a nice look. The only downside is that it scratched very easy, so you need to be careful with the surfaces you are handling it with. I am preparing to stain and coat now after sanding out the surface scratches/indentations from having something on my work bench. The places came out easily and the stain and coating should prevent any further issues.

wood is de-laminating the glue failed and the wood is splitting apart I do not recommend these counters, they use inferior glue

covered in adhesive

I bought two 4 ft units and one 6 ft unit. when I removed the shrink wrap, I found the corner protectors and paperwork were taped to the wood surface (both sides) with a very strong adhesive. It took several hours to remove the adhesive, resurface and finish the wood.
