Great quality, looks beautiful as-is. Still need to apply a clear coat to protect the wood, but cutting and installation went smooth.

Great looking top, finish how you want to

I purchased the top along with pre-built cabinets. The butcher block top added so much value to the inexpensive cabinets. Easy to rip with a table saw, I finished with 5 coats of MinWax Tung Oil, lightly buffing with 0000 steal wool between coats. The grain popped, the finish is durable, all-in-all, the butcher block top is a good product, additionally, it leaves the homeowner with a clean slate to finish as h/she wants. Beautiful butcher block

This is a beautiful butcher block. I purchased it for a kitchen island that a neighbor is making for me. Because my local Lowe's store didn't have it in stock, I had to order it online and have it shipped to my local store. My only complaint is that it was damaged in the shipping. One side had deep gouges in it, probably caused by a forklift. The packaging is flimsy. However, my neighbor is going to sand it down on that side and put it on the bottom where it won't show. New workbench top.

Seems to be of good quality. No scaring or gouges. With light sanding and a protective coating, this was a perfect replacement for my workbench top.

Nice product

Changed all our countertops to this style of butcher-block. It’s not a difficult process. There is some variation from board, but that adds character.

Great counter top option (save lots of money)

I built a small kitchenette in my basement and needed a 7ft counter top. I started by going to a local stone place, they wanted $1,300 for just the 7ft of stone, I had to pick it up, and install myself. I paid $230 for this butcher block and couldn't be happier. It was easy to install (just set it in place), I was able to cut it to size with a corded circular saw, I was able to carry into the house with two people. Great Countertops

The quality of these countertops is excellent as is the cost. I did an entire kitchen for less than $ 800. They stained and sealed beautifully. I used the side that has a more uniform appearance vs the side side with more knots and wood variations. Highly recommend if cost is a factor.

Multi Pupose

I’m a big fan of solid wood table tops and work bench tops. This one is destined to become a drop edge platform for my compound miter saw on 6” caters. Solid, mobile and easily stored. The photo is a previous project using the same hinges.

My new kitchen countertops are gorgeous! I sealed them with 4 coats of Waterlox Tung oil which added a nice warm color. Would highly recommend.

Hidden Damage

This item was an online order. I did not observe the damaged edge that was caused by a forklift. I noted a big gouge along one edge when I removed the cardboard. I did not return because I was doing a custom installation along a wall. I reduced the width slightly and removed the damage. I did not want to waste 4 hrs for a return. Being in a hurry at pickup I failed to see the damage that was only visible from the bottom. Lowes needs to inspect their online orders before they bring them out for...
