Would RecommendThe quality of this butcher block was about what I expected; Not perfect, but able to be worked with. It took about an hour of sanding with my belt sander and a 180 grit belt to smooth out the imperfections. Some of the joints weren’t perfectly even, and there were a few other imperfections. I finished the butcher block with three coats of Minwax oil based polyurethane and it really turned out beautifully.

Cheap laminated crap
Would Not RecommendThis is a way overpriced 1/4" thick laminate. It feels heavy until we got it home, unwrapped it and flipped over to finish.it had a quarter size pc of the laminate missing so could see the core. It was wrapped so well we couldnt see or notice the laminate it is noticeable covered, needed kitchen back together for family holidays so we had to keep it

We followed this exactly and used the product that the lowe's...
