Outside power for the deck and patio.

We are upgrading our house siding and decided to replace and add some power outlets to our exterior deck and patio. I had a licensed electrician (my son) assist in this project. We added two new outlets and upgraded a third covered outlet. Everything we needed was included except the boxes. installation was easy since these were flush mount kits. As noted in other reviews they do stick out some but not to the point of distraction.

Easy installation and worked perfectly for me!

I needed a receptacle on the side of my house to run a pump and this worked just fine. I was able to tap into a receptacle in a back bedroom, drill through the brick with a hammer drill, connected the wiring following a YouTube video by an electrician and plugged in the pump. So far so good.

Some issues

We couldn’t get the screws to go into the pre drilled holes for the mounting brackets on one side so we had to adjust how it hung.

Easy installation

Easy to install after removing old that was 25 plus years old around a pool and corroded with pool chemicals

Worked well

This box combo worked well for the outside installation of an outlet.

GFCI outlet is Big

I bought this for a retrofit onto an older house. The outlet box on my house is embedded in a brick wall and was still in good shape so I did not use the metal box supplied with this kit. When I went to install the GFCI outlet the ground terminal on the GFCI stuck out a little bit making it very difficult to get the GFCI outlet installed into the metal box that is embedded in the wall. A Great box with 1 minor flaw

This box is great, however, instructions to install could be written better, and you can only use the top outlet and run the cord out the bottom if it's a thicker cord.

See through!

The electrical boxes and outlets were very outdated on the house I purchased two years. Finally getting around to it must boyfriend wanted to change them to be safe. These outlets and covers are great. Easy to install and being see through is great. Overall we are very happy with our purchase of the three outlets.
