Would RecommendPicked this up for my electrician to install on a covered porch. It does the job. Is a tad hard to open cover to use outlet, but i guess that helps keep water out.

Would RecommendQuality metal box with a top - down metal cover to keep it dry. The gfci buttons have lights o indicate their state. As always be sure to understand how it is wired, do your homework.

Faulty outlet; difficult cover
Would Not RecommendI was thrilled to find this combo outlet and cover, but on installation, my enthusiasm for the product turned to frustration. First of all, the screws on the back of the outlet are spaced too far from the threads, so with a wire in there, it's very hard to get the screw far enough down into the thread to "catch."
