Would RecommendNice that it came as a set. It did not seal against the exterior wood like I would of liked. No big deal, I will just caulk around were the box meets the wood.

Would RecommendReplacing an old standard outdoor outlet with a modern GFCI outlet is one of those projects that's easy to put off doing, since you know you're going to run into problems and it will take far longer than you thought. Well, that's not the case with the TayMac electrical box cover. The instructions were clear, easy to follow and very well written. The entire project took less than 10 minutes and couldn't have been easier. It's nice knowing that I can now run my Christmas lights off of this out...
Nice box cover, keeps the elements out while inuse
Would RecommendI had to replace an old outlet box on my balcony which had flip covers over each outlet connection. I like this one better in that in is an in-use box so you can have a cord plugged in and close the cover to keep the weather out of the connection. Good box cover!

There is no factory warranty for the GFCI
Would Not RecommendThe GFCI was garbage. It didn’t work. I ended up having to replace it with a Levington GFCI. I wasn’t able to return this because I had already used caulk on the bubble cover. The bubble cover works really good with the new GFCI though.

Decent unit, Specifications need clarified
Would RecommendOverall a decent unit for making electrical inspectors happy with the "in-use" requirement. The specification area on the website need to be more clear that this is a 15A unit. If you scroll the pictures you can see that info - but to me that is a critical specification - more important than the weight and physical size no doubt. My application called for a 20A receptacle, and I didn't notice until I was too far in the boonies to go back and swap with Lowes. So I had to buy a 20A receptacle ...

There is a 1 year warranty on the GFCI. Please contact Tech support regarding proper wiring, and installation.
