The LED feature is awesome

First of all, this is one very solid and well made product. You can tell the quality just by holding it. I don’t have a project at the moment for this, so to review I am using around house in random locations to check whether things are level in my house. The LED button let’s you toggle through the three lights.

Terrific and helpful features

Toughbuilt has a winner with this 48” magnetic lit box level. A well built and accurate level with the added convenience of four powerful magnets for work with steel studs and vials lit by LED lights for easier reading ( clicking a button lights up each vial in turn ). One of the better levels I’ve ever used

Sturdy, Cool, Lighted

I have had numerous levels in the past 40 years. I have a 4 foot level from the late 80s (over 30 years) that I have done massive projects with. It is an extremely valuable length of a level for so many projects. I thought the idea of an upgrade was a nice idea. I include a picture of my old level for comparison. Excellent Level

Before I received this 48” level, my only option was a 6” and 1’ level and although they did the job, this 48” level with a built in light far exceeds both my experience and expectations. The first time I used it was in a dimly lit attic while installing a condensation drain line for my NG heater/A-C. Great 48 inch level

The name says it all. Toughbuilt-this is very durable but due to the aluminum, it is about 5 lbs in weight. The two end vertical levels have built-in LED lights if needed. The bottom rail has multiple magnets to attach firmly to ferrous materials. The level does not have 45-degree capability, however.

Love the light!

Super tough small (9 inch) level. Perfect for hanging artwork. The best feature is the light option. It's pricey at 30$, but it will last forever and has the added light feature that can be a game-changer ins some low-light situations. My example is the living room jumbo TV on the wall, you can see the little bubble much more easily using the light and that's even with a wall full of windows. In a new construction that may not have power, it would be very handy indeed.

I couldn’t wait to receive the level and put it to work first thing. I’m totally impressed with the quality of the level but the first feature that stuck out is the lighted bubbles. It’s so helpful when it’s dark. The first project I used it on was to verify that one of our bedroom’s was sagging a little and it was. Time to make a call. The ONLY thing I noticed I would like to see is a way to measure on one side. It would have been helpful when I was hanging a picture. I highly recommend.

Light up level

This is certainly handy to have. It’s tough, handles drops and the light up feature is great. Hanging a heavy mirror was made easier by using the light up features. Heavy duty without being cumbersome this was easy to use with one hand. Perfect size for projects around the house.

Getting Things Straight and Level, At Last

I was an art museum curator for several years and part of the job was to make sure the display pieces were hung straight and level. Back then, we didn't have lighted levels. This makes a big difference, especially where lighting is not the best. I have a 9 inch level, the perfect size for interior work that is not related to construction. I had great luck with this level. It's made well, beautifully made actually, and it functions perfectly. It's a great tool to have on hand.

Good box level for HVAC and appliance install

I used this to install my dishwasher and washing machine. The light was a nice feature. I usually work with a headlamp and didn't have one handy. I was worried that the addition of a magnet would throw off the ability to level it. It did not. Luckily it didn't scratch the finish on The dishwasher. The Name Says It All

With a light and solid feel this 9" modern looking level screamed quality as soon as it hit my hand. Unlike my 12" square ( which I had to disassemble to use as a level..real pain to reassemble) the 1" precision milled base and top makes it virtually tip proof. Extremely Useful

I received The Toughbuilt Level and my biggest reason was the lighted bubble I tested out how bright the light was in dim light and in dark, It’s bright. The magnet is very strong. I then tested the light to insure it would go off automatically. I have a tendency of forgetting to turn thing off and it past the test after about 3 minute it went off . Pro: Rugged. Magnetic. Toughbuilt 48 in magnetic level

I own other 48inch levels but I have never had has high quality as this Toughbuilt magnetic lighted level. The high quality of this level is the best that i have ever used. I will sell my others and keep this one

TOUGHBILT 9” Lit Box Level

Toughbuilt has improved the box level by adding an led light. I used it on a dark area and the light improved how well I could see the vials. There is a push button to turn light on and off. There is a strong magnet to attach to metal. It has a limited lifetime warranty and is built solid.

Perfect Size For Smaller Jobs

This is a great size level for putting up shelves, large pictures and other things. I needed to put some shelves up in my bedroom and used this as it fit the bill with ease. It comes with a light built in and worked perfect in the corner of the bedroom where it was a bit dark and I had no problems seeing if the shelf would be level or not. I received the TOUGHBUILT - 9-in Lighted Magnetic Box Level as part of the Lowe's Loop program. This is a handy versatile size for small or medium size leveling jobs. It has a magnet built in which is very handy to level any metal project. It also has a light in both horizontal and vertical levels that makes it easy to read in low light or even dark situations. Massive level

This is very well made. The magnet on the edge are very strong. The lighted bubbles are a plus. I have had times they have been hard to see. The hand grips are big and well made. The only thing I didn't like is , it's on the heavy side. But that tells me it should last a long time. It's alot better than the 2 long levels that I have. I will be using this one from now on...

Perfect Timing

I have been building a new closet for my Hot water heater and heater. I was at the point where I would be putting in the plumbing. This level showed up just in time. The lighting feature made it easy to to see the level bubble and everything turned out great!

Nice light

For a small level it’s built solid. The magnetic level is nice to free up your hand to work. The added light on level is nice but not needed,the bubbles show up good highly recommend.
