It is well made and has a sassy cheese pattern on the pressure plate which gets a chuckle out of me when I bait it. I used these in our downstairs rooms, as they wouldnt do any severe damage to our dogs if they got to them. I had good results, too. This trap got one tight on the neck and another had a kill to the back. This trap is easy to set up, with a bit of peanut butter. And is easy...

Gets the job done

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The traps were easy to set up and I used them with attractant gel vs food. They are made well and I wasn't sure how well they would work. Though one did also get a spider. With this type of trap you do see the mouse when you pick it up to dispose of. I am unsure if these are reusable but I just threw the traps out once there was a mouse as I wouldn’t want to reuse it. I used these in the basement.

NOT A FAN

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Trap did not set properly. One of the traps was able to set while the other would not. Additionally the fake cheese did not attract any mice - I prefer the other type of Tom Cat because they work the best!

Tomcat Wooden Mouse Trap Gets the Job Done!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Tomcat Wooden Mouse Trap works great. I had a mouse in my kitchen. I set the Tomcat mouse trap and caught a mouse the very first night. It's easy to use and works effectively. I definitely recommend this product.

Pow! We got it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very basic concept. Been around for a long time. Very effective. We caught the mouse in our basement in one try. It's easy to forget about it since you hide it between the furniture and the wall. It's very loud when it goes off. Very stiff. Had a little difficulty in setting it up. Would not have children involved in setting it up.

wooden snap trap

I just put a little peanut butter on them as bait and place them along the wall to get the job done. I use these in my garage my shed and my basement always get one or two with the traps I have set

Very effective

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This kind of trap is super effective if you have any mice around. You just put a glob of peanut butter and burn it with a lighter and nice are drawn to it. They are instantly killed if they try to eat the peanut butter.

Pretty solid snap type mouse trap

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nice mouse trap. Easy to set up and clean up. Worked well on field mice. If you are in favor or non-kill traps this one won’t work for you. Set up two trap and one was successful. Have left the 2nd trap out without it going off or catching. I suspect there are no additional mice at this time.

Very Effective!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These Tomcat Mouse traps were easier to set up than previous versions. They are also more sensitive to being triggered, which allows you to catch more mice. All you do is place the bait inside the trap and place it against walls where mice travel. These traps were very effective at capturing the mice we had, and I would recommend them to anyone who has the same problem.

Classic mouse trap

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These work better than the older style. There's holes in the bait platform that help to hold whatever you use, I use peanut butter. Great improvement on the old design. I would recommend this product to anyone looking for an effective trap

Great, old fashioned product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Dependable and easy to use. Simply hold the bar down while placing the food on the plate. Then slowly remove your finger and set it inside a cabinet or under a table. A sticky candy bar is the best way to catch a mouse. Leave a small piece of caramel on the plate for an hour before setting the trap. Then the mouse will have difficulty getting the candy off the plate.

Reliable and easy setup

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used these traps for years and like that the critter can set off the trap by stepping on the yellow “cheese paddle”. It is very sensitive and it is rare to have a miss I also like that it can be set easily without fear of getting my fingers snapped.

single catches in tight area

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are great single catch items that fit in tight areas. They are very effective but more difficult to set that the multicatch trap. I use these in and around my car that sits idle most of the time but a great item to keep mice from damaging the wiring under the hood.

Tried and True

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is your traditional, tried and true mouse trap, it is simple and usually effective if baited correctly and palced in the correct place. I find them to be messy immediatly after the kill, and if you forget to check them often, the smell can be bad. But over all a decent trap.

These work well

We put a little peanut butter on the trap itself and it has caught my already. I like that this package comes with two traps. I would highly recommend the tomcat brand.

Catch them fast.

trap works but tricky to set properly

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I prefer the wooden traps with the metal bait tab. You can bend the catch tab where the trigger bar goes and get it to work on a hair trigger. These traps with the plastic bait bar are tricky to set properly because the plastic is so slick.

Mouse trap review

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Easy to use and set up. Arrived on time. A lot better than standard dollar store traps, no glue to worry about either. I set these in my basement where I have seen droppings in the past. I will update if needed.
