one day and mouse caught
Would RecommendEasy to set and I used the Tomcat gel bait and squeezed into the hole. I think the gel works better as the mouse had to get in there to try to eat the gel and snapped right down on him! Love that sound, knowing your issue is taken care of!

Would RecommendFinally a better mousetrap! Works better than wire traps. Better than glue traps because I don't want to torture mice to death--instant death is better. Now that I know how great Tomcat's work, I'm getting a bunch. (Wish I could remember where I set the other trap!)

Would RecommendThis trap works, he/she didn't have a chance. i put a dab of PB inside the trap and used a small piece of tape on the underside so it wouldn't move form the motion of the jaws or even the mouse itself trying to move it. (i have no proof it would do that just overthinking on my part) I decided to dispose of the trap/mouse completely and not reuse.

Would Not RecommendI have been using these traps on and off for a few years, with good success, however, my recent purchases have been VERY disappointing. 8 new traps set - only 2 sprung. The other 6 raps had the bait taken by the critters I am trying to catch. 25% success rate - c'mon Tomcat - you are WAY better than that!

Breaks way to easily!
Would Not RecommendHave used Tomcat black plastic traps for several years. They have proved very durable. Tried this Press 'N Set mostly due to the more aggressive design "teeth". First night set (outdoors) caught a mouse! Great! Reset the trap, nothing, then today found it 'snapped' and broken at the 2 hinges. Very thin, weak point in a critical area of the trap. I see the same problem reported by others. DONT give me this "one use" design nonsense, only a wasteful person or someone terrified of mous...

These traps are defective
Would Not RecommendI have always loved the easy set plastic Tomcat traps. Just bate and set and catch mice. But I have a whole bunch of them that don’t work at all! The white with red tongue type worked great, but the newer white with black tongue type don’t work at all. You can set them, but nothing will set them off short of dropping them in the floor. Very defective!! I wondered why the bait was always gone but the trap is still set. Finally I started testing them, and everyone of them is defective. Bad design!...
