Snapped and broke on its own

The trap was set and decided to snap on its own, which caused one of the plastic parts to break

new traps don't work

I've used these before and found they worked well. But now I'm on my second pack of two, and I'm just feeding the mice peanut butter. I've tried to trigger the traps with a skewer, and it won't snap. The mice lick them clean and have even knocked them over on their side, and they do not snap. These are brand-new traps out of the box, and I'm setting them correctly. I don't know what's happened that they no longer work.

Victor M143S mouse trap great and trapped a mouse today. Peanut butter was the bait used. Easy to use and would recommend this trap.

Great design, poor quality plastic.

These are wonderful traps, but unfortunately there's a problem with the plastic they use. At the back of the trip mechanism there's a small plastic hook that keeps the trap set and ready to go. Unfortunately the force of the spring which loads the trap is often enough to break off the tip of the hook, springing the trap and rendering it useless. About half of the traps I've purchased ( I've bought 6 so far) have broken themselves within the first few hours after setting them because of this q...

Worst trap I've ever used

If I could give this fewer stars I would. The trap lacked the power to kill the mouse it caught leaving it crushed and suffering. I threw both traps away and will never purchase anything from this brand again.

Great tool, and easy to set.

I like this because it is a lot easier to set than wire traps. And it seriously kills the little rodents absoletly dead.

Breaks easily

Got home, put some peanut butter on the trap, then realized one of the two traps was already broken before I could use it. Otherwise, these traps have always worked fine for me, but what a hassle to have to drive back to the store and hope to get a refund…

Cheap plastic now and break easily.

We have given up on these traps as they break easily and the mice get away (after a nice peanut butter treat).

Great trap all around.

These are the best traps we have found. They are strong, sturdy, and easy to set. They are also easy to empty and reuse. They are decently priced so that makes them good all around.

Worked but don't not 4long

they were easy 2 set&I caught 2 mice but then after that&I had 2 reset them they broke the plastic there made from easily tore them apart but they but have enough pressure 2 kill 1 mouse a piece but after that they don't hold up so if u only need 2 use them once then they will work otherwise do like I did&get over being scared of the old wood ones&buy them

Killed two mice in a couple days. Perhaps it was instantaneous, they looked peaceful.
