Would RecommendThis power grout is great to work with. Good and Solid when it dried. Best part is not having to seal it!
After allowing 72 hours to cure we used the shower and watched the grout wash out and down the tile wall. Product was highly recommended but I will not buy again.
First grout job and it’s now complete
Would Recommendthis Was my first grout job and a big one too! This grout is awesome ! It went in perfect and hardened great and not real fast either! I love the way it looks and I am so glad I listened to a professional tile man choosing this product! No complaints what so ever! Best grout out there! My husband did it 8 years ago and used a different product and it was a nightmare! I cut the old All out and put new in 11/21/17 job complete ! Used the grey mist with white tile looks awesome!
I can't believe the reviews I'm reading!
Would RecommendI am a professional tile installer so when reading these reviews I could not believe what I was reading. Since PowerGrout has come out, it is the ONLY grout I will use if water is to come in contact with the grout. I have yet, in over 300 showers, had a perpendicular to horizontal line crack! Yes, this grout is a little thicker and a little more tacky than traditional grout, I assume it's because of the built in sealer. I laughed when I read some of the reviews because it was painfully obvio...
Great grout! Extremely stain resistant!
Would RecommendI installed 400 sqft of the brazilian white pecan porcelain tile from Lowes and used the TEC Power grout in silverado. I mixed about 2lbs at a time using a scale for both the grout and the water, making sure to use the exact amount of water. It mixes up a little thicker than regular sanded grout and I had to use more force than normal to get it into the grout lines. Work quickly as you only have about 20 minutes of working time. After it's down follow the normal procedure to clean it up. I'...
Contractor who loves this stuff
Would RecommendI'm a contractor. I only work with this Power Grout now. It doesn't really blotch at all over life span and sets up well. If you're a rookie, it might be a bad idea as is sets up a little quick on porous tile.
Dries to a Brilliant White Stay Away
Would Not RecommendI never write reviews but was compelled to after being misled by the packaging that this grout will be a grey color. Mine dried to a brilliant white after being professionally installed. The white looks awful against my tile. I now have to recolor all the grout to a darker color. I would give it zero stars if I could. If you are looking for a brilliant white grout this is perfect for you.
Whitish
Would Not RecommendIt doesn't matter what color you pick, it is going to be pretty much grayish white. Doesn't matter if you follow instructions, it's going to be grayish white.
grout
Would RecommendHad porcelain tiles installed but would have liked the grout to be a little darker. The sales person tried to match to the tile color, but was a few shades off.
Very Poor Quality
Would Not RecommendI mixed this grout exactly as per the instructions. The water to grout ratio seems wrong because the grout was very stiff and dry after the initial mix. The instructions then said to let it sit for 3 t 5 minutes. When I went t remix it the grout was so stiff it could not be remixed. I had no choice but to try adding more water. After that it continued to harden and within about 5 minutes it was completely unusable. What grout I had managed to get on the tile before it was unusable was extremely ...
Wrong color
Would Not RecommendI bought 5 bags of this grout in Summer Wheat(brown) and it came out as a beige color. I have 2 more rooms my contractor has to install wood tile floors in and now I really don't know if I should get the same grout or go with another brand. When my contractor called HB Fuller company they were no help at all...they told him it was from the salt. Not a happy customer.
Great grout.
Would RecommendVery good grout. Easy to work and dried in about 4 hours.
good stuff
Would Recommendpretty easy to use and durable. the no seal quality is the best
Tec Silverado
Would Not RecommendWater ratio is incorrect kicks too quickly. Grout goes on Gray dries white.... Not happy...
Does what grout should do!
Would RecommendEasy to work with and cleans up nicely. I used equally as well on small spacers (1/16") as well as in pebble mosaic tile with large, irregular spacing.
Easy to use grout
Would RecommendPerfect color match.used 3 bags.I put the furniture in the middle of the room and grouted the perimeter first then put the furniture on the perimeter and proceeded to grout the rest of the floor you cannot tell where I started and stopped. grout is very easy to clean up.
Difficult to clean
Would Not RecommendHaving installed 1000's of square feet of tile over the years, this was my first time with the TEC since Lowes stoped carrying Mapaie line. I have never in all my years had a grout that was so hard to remove. Even after 15 minutes of the initial wipe down, the haze was virutally impossible to remove. It appears that I will have at least a week of true acid scrubbing just to get the tile clean( 1100 sq. ft. porcelain wall tile)
Excellent Finish And Color
Would RecommendPowder mixed well. Finish look goes well with our tile. Wish Lowe's had TEC's Silverdo tube in the matching color. Need a small bead to complete the project between the tile and hardwood floor.
We had Lowe's install porcelain tile and used this grout in a dark color - Summer Wheat. For some reason that Lowes can't explain when water splatters on floor from sink or a dropped piece of ice cube it leaves my grout a white/light grey in color. Flooring was done about two weeks ago. Floor was not sealed as they state it doesn't need to be. HELP. Extremely disappointed in this. Our new floor looks terrible.

Power grout
Would RecommendSo i am a tile setter, the grout is very difficult to use, but is worth it. Holds color longer and 10x stonger. Do not use too much water and dont leave the grout on the top the tile, just the joint. Do little sections.
