Great grout but must be sealed

The grout looks awesome and makes my kitchen look so much cleaner but it MUST be sealed to keep the ivory color. I have a great dane that drags dirt all over the tile floor as well as drools puddles at a time after drinking water. Personally, I would recommend a darker grout color to hide the dirt but my husband jumped the gun in buying white (without me). Overall, the power-grout works great. smooth as silk

very good grout. mix with water makes it easier than with milk.

Product set up too quickly

Followed instructions and after 2 minutes and doing 1 area 18”x24” the product hardened and I couldn’t do any more. Bought another bag and added more water than in instructions and I could work with it longer, but still not ideal to work with as other products. Will not purchase this product for my next grouting project.

Fast drying grout is trafficable in hours!

Mix only as directed!!!! Do not over water!!!! Use water bottles or soda cans to help gauge your water amounts. (Most people don’t have measuring cups on job sites) The grout hardens quickly and you will have just enough time to finish the bag. Keep with it and the clean up is easy. The grout haze wipes right off when dry. We laid the grout down and were back in the bathroom roughing wire and plumbing the same day.

Not the color on the bag

This is almost completely white and dried to a pure white not Silverado as stated on the bag! Very disappointed since you take time to pick out the perfect grout and then this happens:(

Garbage!!!

Complete garbage!!! The only thing good about this product is the fact that it is fast setting!! I bought 5 bags of this product to grout my living room and out of five bags I have three different color shades of grout!! Mixed every bag down to a tee with measuring cups for my 26 oz of water per bag and still it's wrong!!! Took almost twice as much product as it said it would according to the specs on the bags!!! I should have just bought the cheap grout and spent the extra money for sealer and ...

Not as advertised

The product page claims that this grout "never needs sealing" which is absolutely not true. I selected this grout for a bathroom renovation. After installation, we waited to use the shower for a day as directed in the documentation. However, residue is excreted from the grout lines when it gets wet. When dry, I can gently rub my finger on it and have grout powder come off. Now I need to hire someone to come and seal it all. The installation was done in mid-November.

hardened up and was nearly unusable

I've been doing tile work for years. I mixed Tec grout exactly as instructed, spread some on the wall and it was hard before I finished applying the first scoop with the float. I couldn't scrape it off the wall with the float and I could barely scoop any more out of the bucket. I had to keep adding more booster and re-mix every time I needed more. The instructions said wait 15-30 minutes before wiping and I had to start scrubbing it off and scraping it with a razor before I was even done applyin...

Grout for Small Glass/Ceramic Tiles

I followed the directions for mixing and the consistency came out just right. The color was as advertised on the color chip and blended in perfectly. The directions on the bag were very useful. Clean up was a breeze.
