Swann 8 Channel System

Bought this system, cameras work great and so does the DVR. It does take some time to put in properly, so my advise is to pre-plan your locations, measure your length to make sure you have enough cable. For the price, it is $150-$200 cheaper than other systems and works as good or better. It will take some adjustments to get the DVR motion detection set just right, lots of great videos on Youtube to walk you through it.

For the price it’s a good deal, but running the wiring could be a pain if you are doing it yourself. Setup is pretty straight forward and connecting to your iPhone is also simple. Motion on the camera seems to be a little jumpy and not as smooth as if you were watching a TV picture. Haven’t really figured out all the different settings, alarms, etc yet. But for daily monitoring purposes it does just what it’s suppose to do.

I ordered the DVK-4580. It was delivered within a week, and the setup and installation was a snap. I used the online video, which was straight-forward.

Great Pkg Deal!

Just set this up and it works perfectly. Now I have a visual on my building and my home. Connected this to a monitor and am very impressed with the quality of the camera's video. Wide enough angle to catch both doors on a 50ft span, reducing my need for 2 cameras to just 1 across the front of my building. Would definitely recommend this high quality product.

I was surprised of how easy it was to install. Never have before. Easy to install and great pics and videos. I just love the night vision, didn't it to work as for I live in the woods where it is very dark. If you need security cameras I would recommend.

Picture on the camera is great. Setting the app on my phone is difficult, still didn't get it to work. Instructions could be tweaked for a better installation.

Easy to install wish owner's manual was included in box

Putting the pieces together was fairly easy. One cable would not plug into the DVR but would connect to the 100 foot extension cable. Since this is an infrared system placement is important for motion pick-up. I had to relocate one camera three times before I got the results I wanted. As titled, an owner's manual may have helped understand your product better.

Just an average system

Install was fairly easy, I have done many installs from lorex, qsee and few others.

Swann provides you with everything you need to install this system. Very simple install and setup. The quality of the images, is by far one of the best I've seen thus far. Highly recommend this product.

Surprised!

This system was recommended by the installer. I was skeptical because it was analog. I am now a believer with a few extra dollars in my pocket. The views are clear and consistent so far. The app is working great. The system has been up for a week now so we will see how it does going forward. So far, I am happy. I added 4 more cameras and it has not degraded the quality.

Best system I have found this is my second one.
