Powerful to say the least

I purchased this tool for my business along with two new Simpson Pressure Washers. The wand works amazingly well, however, and maybe it was a defected product, after about 30 minutes of use the pressure stops working. We tried everything to no avail before finally using tools to release the pressure from the hose. This problem continues to happen every time we use it using a 3700 PSI washer. I've ordered another one hoping I just bought a defective piece of equipment. I would definitely recommen...

Doesn't Work For Applying Soap

Doesn't work for when trying to apply soap when cleaning a house on low pressure. I had the correct nozzle (black) on it and it didn't work due to the small inside diameter of the hose. I used the wand and lance that came with the pressure washer and it worked. It's just hard to reach the peak of a 2 story home with a 4 foot wand/lance. Worked great for when pressure washing the driveway. Now to find something that will work.

The Pros: It does what it does. Great product. The Cons: I'm 5'10" and I needed to use a latter on my 2 story house. If you're over 6'2, most likely you won't need a latter. This product is Not for Weaklings!! You must have strong arms and shoulders to utilize this product; otherwise you will fatigue yourself and it will take longer to complete your project. It took me at least 5 hours to do the entire house, even with my wife assisting me. Bottom Line, BE PATIENT AND DON'T OVER EXERT YOURSEL...

This thing is a beast !

Took about 20 minutes to assemble- watch out for the sharp edges ! When fully extended it is large and bulky- hence the harness strap. Because it is so bulky, it is very easy to lose control of what you are spraying. When you extend less than the 18 feet, the excess hose comes out of the back of the handle and is a pain to have it hanging out of the gun. Overall, I honestly would prefer using my regular set up and a ladder than this thing. It's too bulky and all over the place.

Forget it if you plan to angle the nozzle

As other reviewers have mentioned, this wand flexes way too much. If you keep the nozzle pointed straight out in-line with the wand, it's manageable but if you angle the nozzle out, it is comically uncontrollable. I thought I was strong enough and smart enough to use leverage to control it but I just gave up in frustration. It's just not possible. I was trying to clean the inside of gutters (hence the angle). All in all a good product. A little more cumbersome and a little more recoil than expected but you get what you get when it’s 18 ft above your head. Would buy again

Check that all iteams are in box.

Iteam was missing strap at purchase. Iteam is impossible to use when extended. Im not sure if the strap would of helped

Lightweight & Powerful

This addition to my powerwasher is awesome! We purchased the cleaner and did the low setting to apply the mold and siding cleaner. We then did the full power wash... Unbelievable.. the tool is light weight and the harness distributes the weight of the wand perfectly. We had a company do our house last year for $285.. paying $150 one time will allow us to do this multiple times a year!

3 Things to Know

First, I thought the word telescoping meant you could adjust the length by leaving sections out. You cannot do that, you must assemble the entire 18' of length because each sections diameter changes. Secondly the harness leaves a lot to be desired as well as the instructions on how to use and adjust it. Thirdly, you are fighting the pressure plus the 18' of leverage. Professional and Heavy

Rec. this professional 18 Ft. extendable pressure washer wand. Mostly a two person assembly, but had good instruction booklet. Did not expect it to be so heavy especially extended at full length since it is mostly plastic but it did have a shoulder harness to help hold it. Assembled and held it at highest point on our house and reached it without using any ladders which is great! Not able to use it quite yet until the rain lets up, but should so the job! DEATH TRAP!!!

Do not waste your money or time!!! This thing is a death trap!! No control and sways all over the place! The harness is a joke! It almost took out my window prob would’ve cracked my siding if I continued with it. What a mess! Don’t bother. There has to be a better way! -0 stars!

WOW! Talk about a reach

I wanted this wand due to having a second story and this pressure wand answered my call 100%. Assembly was very simple BUT TAKE CAUTION ON THE WARNING LABELS where it says sharp edge, they are NOT even joking, it will slice you open quick (feel free to ask me how I know this). Bandaids aside, the wand is every bit of 18ft but as you can see in my images I stopped at the beginning of each red caution line and I was able to safely get 16ft from handle to tip (without a nozzle end). Great for two story homes!

There is a lot to assemble out of the box, so that is why I gave this four stars instead of five. Otherwise this wand is awesome! Far superior to the wand that was one step down. I can easily clean the front of my gutters on my two story house with this. While the box says you need a minimum psi of 2800, my electric power washer with a max psi of 2300 works well with this wand, even fully extended. This definitely beats moving a ladder and the up and down I used to do to clean my house siding.

NICE FEATURES

Its a little cumbersome, and rightly so, but when its not fully extended, the hose hangs out the back of the gun and drags around getting caught on the landscaping. The blue hose in the pics is what hangs out the back of the gun. The harness that comes with it, probably looked better on paper, The "leash" is so short that I had to take the harness off completely and not even use it. As many of the reviews have stated this device will work but requires upper body strength. I'm 5 10 and 300 lbs and had trouble holding it steady all the way extended. it has great pressure and can clean up as good as another other wand. like the telescopic pole. Very happy and recommend!

Worked as advertised. Some minor assembly required but easy. Put it together and then spent several hours using it on my house with no issues. Very happy.
