Would RecommendIts not squirrel proof but it is resilient to their destruction. I had bought one prior to this and liked the construction of it. Metal mesh and reinforced feed ports. I have grey squirrels all the time trying to get into them and had many destroyed by them but not these.

Would RecommendThis is better than the similiar ones at Menards because the Menard's internal plate that the feeder hangs from is only spot welded, causing it to break, fall apart and hit the ground with all your seed in 3-6 months! The similar Lowes feeder has a strong sturdy steel cable internally, holding the lid & the feeder from this happening!
