The ornamental top section isn’t as sturdy as it looks so you need to be careful installing this thing. Aside from that, it works great. I bought it to replace a leaky hose reel and discovered that it’s actually more convenient to use than the hose reel was.

Looks Nice - Quality Sucks
Would Not RecommendNot sure what the deal is but lately, most products being sold at Lowe's are cheap and are typically broken while on the store shelves. I doubt these things are made of steel, or if they are then the iron content is way to high or not thoroughly mixed.
Not very strong
Would Not RecommendThis hose reel was not stout enough for our needs.

Filmsy
Would Not RecommendI bought 3 of these hose stands. The front scroll plate has fallen off all 3 of them and is now useless. The 3rd base prong is also bent. It's so cheaply made. Otherwise the design is great. is there anyway to get that "face plate" back on to keep the hose on it?
Pretty and Functional, worth the TLC
Would RecommendWe've had this hose stand for several years. I purchased it because of the beautiful top design, the color, and simplicity to use. Early on, we found the item to rust prematurely so we spray painted black paint over the whole thing and we're getting ready to paint it again (we have to do the same with our wrought iron furniture, too, so it's not a big deal to do the stand as well). My husband ran over the bottom part that sticks out of the ground with the lawn mower, which put a cut into the ...
