Sturdy for 100 foot hose

Weak design

Initial use of this unit was delayed because the feeder hose wouldn't thread correctly to the reel and had to be replaced. The replacement was delivered quickly and worked fine. This unit works as a hose reel, but not as a good hose reel. I bought this to replace the similar Ames reel that wouldn't stop leaking after six years of use. Sturdy and well designed

Sturdy and well made. This holds a large garden hose and the reel works well. It also has a nice design. Much better than plastic alternatives we have had in the past.

This hose box works like a charm. Was easy to assemble. It isn’t as heavy as I would like for it to be so just be cautious that it can move around if you are pulling the hose out. Otherwise, it is very nice.

Solid mostly steel

This is my second metal hose reel with the hand crank. I like the first one so much, I’ve had it for about two years. Nothing is wrong with it. The metal is sturdy. The hand crank is very simple and I have a 100 foot hose on it. I had two plastic hose reel cabinets that rewound with water pressure. They were all plastic and after only about three years, everything wore out or broke sure it was convenient just flipped a switch and the water winds your hose, but they don’t last.

Sturdy and pretty!

Great heavy and pretty looking metal cabinet for our garden house. No problem putting it together and it makes a great addition to the outside of our house!

Waste of Money

The hose wheels in fine. Getting it back out is the problem. It continually jams up inside the cabinet. You forcibly have to pull it out a foot at a time. Was this thing even tested to see if it would work before selling it to the public? Believe the bad reviews.

Hefty hose box

Product is of great quality. It's very sturdy, durable and lightweight. It is designed for a traditional hose and not a heavy duty hose but still very good.

Works well so far

This works well, so far and is fairly easy to wind a hose. I deducted one star because it isn’t as easy to wind as the 150 foot capacity model.

Rolls up hose very easily

Originally bought a cheaper version of this made out of plastic. It was poorly made. Purchased this and am amazed how much better it works.

LEADER HOSE IS GARBAGE

I love the metal garden hose unit. However, to spend well over $125.00 and have a leader hose that leaks like a sieve is crazy. I think the hose is cheaply made. I ended up purchasing a leader hose elsewhere that actually works and I dont have water spraying everywhere. You would think if you can design a nice looking unit you could upgrade your cheap leader hose!! If the hose worked I would have given 5 stars!
