What Customers Are Saying
The product appears to have mixed reviews. Some customers found the feeder pole to be well-made, sturdy, and easy to assemble, allowing them to successfully set up a bird feeding station. They appreciated the height and flexibility of the pole, as well as the ability to accommodate multiple feeders. However, many other customers reported significant issues with the quality and durability of the pole, including it being flimsy, weak, and easily bent or broken, even in mild winds. Several customers also struggled with the installation process, finding that the pole did not easily or securely anchor into the ground.

Would Recommendbirds started coming as soon as we added the bird feeder
Great idea
Would RecommendI just wish this product was longer(taller). The squirrels can easily jump to the feeders.
Juat okay
Would Not RecommendNot sturdy and threads strips. However, you get what you pay for. I had to buy pipe repair clamps to reinforce it and stake it. Still is was more affordable than the less single poles.
Junk
Would Not RecommendDo not waste your money. Threaded ends were stripped and entire unit was cheap. Could not return because first section is in the ground (followed directions).
Worst purchase ever
Would Not RecommendThis is the second one of these I have bought and never again. In the first place do not follow the instructions. Dig a hole and bury the bottom. I pounded the bottom in the first time and it stripped the inside of the tube and I had to duct tape the two tubes together. It fell apart when I moved recently and I couldn't get it back together again. So today I purchased another one and followed the instructions. After I pounded the tube in the end where the cap goes the cap molded the end into a s...
Fairly built well for the money
Would Not RecommendCalled me when my order was ready and very friendly at time of pick up
will purchase another soon
Would RecommendEasy to assemble and has been up for a week. Has with stood 3" of rain and 35 to 40 mph wind gusts. Have 3 feeders and a suet holder on it. Didn't need to wet the ground to drive in the stake because my ground is sand.
too soft
Would Not RecommendThis would be a good product if it were not made of such soft metal. After I assembled it the joints started to bend and can't be tightened. Within a few hours of putting the bird feeders on it the staff had bent at the lower most joint and this just got worse with the wind over the next few days.
poor quality
Would Not RecommendThe bird feeder is a nice simple design but the threads that screw the parts together are short and not durable. If the threads aren't lined correctly they bend and become flat before you even know it's not correct because the metal is soft.
Bought two. One was fine, one was a bit crooked
Would RecommendNote, I feel the bottom section should be hammered into the ground and then attach the next section. If the two sections are not perfectly straight, damaged is caused and it is very difficult to straighten.
Thin pipe - poorly constructred
Would Not RecommendThe thin pipe pieces were so poorly threaded that I could physically pull them apart after screwing them together . It would have never withstood even a 10mph wind. The hanging brackets were good though, so I just ended up purchasing 10 feet of 3/4 inch ID black pipe. I sprayed them with an exterior gloss paint and then mounted the hanging brackets that came with this set. I did have to file off the burs inside the mounting piece of the hanging bracket so it would fit around the 3/4" pipe. This ...
Good idea, poor quality
Would Not RecommendLike others who purchased and reviewed this, I found the metal to be poor quality, especially the threading. The worse is the threading of the anchor piece. After about two weeks, with the weight of the bird feeders and the occasional squirrel on it, the section above the anchor piece began to give way. The feeder was listing heavily and I am sure it would collapse at any time My solution to the problem was when I found a two foot section of one inch PVC pipe at "the other store." I unscrewed a...
Versatile pole!
Would RecommendThe great thing about this pole is that you have 5 places to place things (1 on top, and 4 hook locations). I hang both feeders and flower pots... For the price, it's a good value. It comes with a disk to protect the pole when pounding it into the ground, but you should still use care so as not to damage the pole. Also use a wood block on top of the disk, and don't pound too hard. Use a bubble level as well for best results. Finally, purchase a squirrel cone guard to go with the pole.
Just installed, so the jury is still out. What I have observed: straight out of the box, screwing the anchor section and the first section together did not form a straight line; the finish height is a tad bit short, the hanger arms seem a little stubby - it would be better if one set extended wider than the other; I do believe soaking the ground made a difference in installation ease and not damaging anything. I also had concerns for the joints/threads, so along with being very careful, I wrappe...
Not so great a solution
Would Not RecommendAdaptor for sinking pole in ground shattered on 6th stroke..used wood block to finish.. Threads stripped out in one section,...cannot use large feeders as weight will distort pole to that side.. Suggest just buying it for the hangers and put them on a standard iron pipe....
In theory it would be a great product, BUT...
Would Not RecommendI am in the same boat as many others here. I received this pole and feeders for Mother's Day and it is virtually useless. Despite following the instructions the threads do not work, they are stripped really before you are finished putting it together, It is leaning out there right now and I am afraid it will fall over. I am only using 2 feeders so I can keep it somewhat level. My plan to fix it is to take the suggestion of other "suckers" (no offense intended) like me. One person replaced the o...
Nice bird feeder pole
Would RecommendGood product. Just purchased my 2nd one. Fairly sturdy and is currently holding 2 medium and 2 slight bigger and heavier bird feeders. Be extra careful threading the poles together.. easy to get them cross-threaded and stripped out. But put together properly, makes for a sturdy pole. Hint: I removed the point on top and a normal sized solar light fits in there nicely.. makes for a nice yard light!
good pole bird feeder
Would Not RecommendIt took longer to receive than I thought it would at the store during pick up
Love This Product
Would RecommendOrdering online and picking up my purchase at the store was so easy. The product turned out to be even nicer than advertised. It was easy to install and it is really nice that I am able to adjust the height. I also purchased four hanging bird feeders. The birds love it! Thank you Lowe's.
