What Customers Are Saying
The product appears to have mixed reviews. Some customers found the feeder pole to be well-made, sturdy, and easy to assemble, allowing them to successfully set up a bird feeding station. They appreciated the height and flexibility of the pole, as well as the ability to accommodate multiple feeders. However, many other customers reported significant issues with the quality and durability of the pole, including it being flimsy, weak, and easily bent or broken, even in mild winds. Several customers also struggled with the installation process, finding that the pole did not easily or securely anchor into the ground.

Would RecommendThis item is ok, I liked the model this replaced better though. The sections on this one just push into each other, the one I bought a couple of years ago had sections that screwed into each other. The old one was also larger in diameter, so overall more solid. Time will tell, I did have to replace the one I bought a couple of years ago because the female screw end for one of the sections became stripped. Not sure why, probably due to squirrels or large birds landing on the feeder - so we wi...

Bird Feeder Holder
Would RecommendI have three of these in the yard now, great price, super easy install, and easily adjustable. Hold a lot more weight than I would of thought and has weathered the elements. Highly recommend!
Great Post
Would RecommendWe bought this as a gift for my Dad... easy to assemble, super sturdy and works great!
Easy to put together, seems to weather the rains and feeder weights well
Cheaply Built
Would Not RecommendVery cheap design. Not nearly the gage thickness of pipe than in previous purchased post. Won't hold up very much weight from 4 feeders. Would not recommend.
Poorly made in China
Would Not RecommendWe love watching the birds. My husband bought this to add more bird feeders in our yard. It is made in CHINA and it is JUNK! Before he could even assemble it - it broke. The weld failed while hand tightening the thumbscrew on the feeder arm. The decorative tops mounting boss broke right off when it fell from a bench to a wood floor while assembling it. Cheap plastic! We will be returning this and will look for something that not only looks like wrought iron, but is as durable as wrought i...
Great Product
Would RecommendI bought one a year ago. It works great, looks good and I have no problems with it. I am buying an additional one. I highly recommend it.
Don't expect much
Lasted 1 week - bottom connection bent after 1 week of use and trying to adjust and tighten the threads caused them to strip. Don't waste your money.
threads deteriorate on mating area
Would Not RecommendThis is the second of these I've purchased in two years. Both units have damaged threads where the top pole connects to the ground unit. The unit started gradually leaning at that joint. . . It will no longer securely thread into the ground unit. I will not buy another - going to invest in another model. Something more substantial.
Don't waste your money or time
Would Not RecommendI followed the set up instructions. Threads strip on the poles and then wobble. Spent money on clamps to try and fix. Very low quality. Lowes should not be selling trash like this
Stripped threads
Would Not RecommendLike other users mine ended up with stripped threads. The threads are way too fine for this type of application. I ended up having to put two hose clamps on the joints to keep it from leaning/falling apart. I will most likely buy a length of 1" pipe and use the hangers from this on it.
Worthless
Would Not RecommendBarely lasted a week. The connection joints were weak and wobbly, and if you try to make them tighter, you risk stripping the threads. It was unsturdy and all attempts to improve it only made it worse. Complete waste of money. So frustrated. It's now in the garbage and my bird feeders put away until I can find something better.
A Nice Idea, but End Product Not Great
Would Not RecommendPros: it holds four small feeders and attracts tons of birds. Cons: It's pretty flimsy--mine only lasted 7 months before breaking. It no longer screws into the base and leans precipitously and falls over in a strong wind as a result. As mentioned in other reviews, it's also not tall enough. I added a baffle which helped a bit with the squirrels, but the lower feeders were a perfect height for the deer (and the better jumping squirrels who launched right over the baffle--they are crafty suckers!)...
okay except cheap and shallow threads on rod ends
Would Not RecommendThis is a cheap unit but you can make it work if careful. When you mount the cross piece to the ground, use a wood block to protect the pole. Don't make direct contact between sledge hammer and pole end. After ground piece is driven in, then screw poles onto it, one at a time. Thread the rods very carefully because thee threads are cheap and shallow, not much to bite into the steel. Use pipe wrench to keep poles tight to each other. Avoid stripping threads; work from bottom up.
Poor Quality
Would Not RecommendTwo sections of this pole have started to bend since the threads do not fit well. This is the same issue as many other reviews. Recommend finding another brand with higher ratings. Lowes should dump this product.
So many great features but one fatal flaw.
Would Not RecommendHad I written a review soon after purchasing this bird feeding station I would have rated it a "5". The pole is heavy-duty, powder-coated steel, 1" diameter, and the design of the bottom section is awesome, (see below photo). The pole sections thread together. Unfortunately, within a couple of weeks the threads strip under normal use. I tried flipping the middle section but both ends stripped. I tried using thread seal tape but that didn't help. Maybe a defective unit? I purchased a second...
