Too thin and rickety

We bought the predecessor to this product several years back. This ne one is smaller in diameter, and when we got it installed and hung the birdfeeders on it it bowed, and swayed. Burying it deeper didn't matter. Pulled out the main pole from the original that we replaced. It is bigger and made of stronger metal. We have already had to replace this with an item from a different store.

You get what you pay for

I read the reviews for this bird feeder hanger, so I was prepared for a rather lightweight pole to put together in place. I was disappointed when the first hanger broke before I even got it on the post- the welds let go where you tighten it to the post. The second hanger was fine, but over all it is a low-cost, lower quality item.

Bad Instructions or came with ill fitting parts

The instructions tell you to put all of the poles together before sliding the hooks down, but if you do this, you cannot get the hooks onto the pole because at the top of the pole, under the screw on part, is a thick plastic piece. I cannot remove the 3rd pole (C) to slide the hook on the opposite end, and Im not sure what Im gonna do, will be a nightmare to take out of the ground to return, Im livid.

Pole broke first day

Instructions were followed to soak ground before digging a narrow ditch 12 inches below ground. Base pole with anchors was left overnight to set even though instructions said 1-2 hrs, after hammering with mallet, leveler at 90 degrees. Next day bird feeder was hung with squirrel baffle because backyard is next to a big forest. Second day, pole broke and feeder found on ground. Pole must be made of soft metal to stretch and split in a climate 74 degrees outside in PNW. I emailed company aski...

I want another, but they are out of stock. We hang hummingbird feeders on it and just sit and watch.

Sturdy, well made product

I've just installed mine although I didn't get very far soaking our rocky desert ground (Las Vegas). I was surprised at the wall thickness of the pole and also the thoughtfulness of them providing a protective cap for pounding it into the ground! I was missing the finial but will try to contact the company or I'll just put a feeder on top.

Nice Station

Received undamaged, which has been unusual for me these days. Good instructions. Able to put together without any issue. With concern over squirrels, only used one set of hooks, to keep feeders approx. 4' from ground, the height that is suppose to add some protection from squirrels. Very nice looking. With the ability to attach the proper type of bird feeder to the very top, with the style we chose, it looks like an old lamp post. Would highly recommend, and very reasonable price compared ...

So much for no tools needed

I bought this because it said it was easy to put together and no tools were needed. That was a complete lie. I live in a townhouse and have a limited backyard area, so the easy assembly was what I wanted. I opened the instructions to find that you need a rubber mallet and hammer. I didn't have a rubber mallet. You also need a hose to soak the ground where you're putting it in. We don't have access to that. Great Pole

I’ve had this almost a year and love it! It still looks great and has stood up to many strong winds. I first had it set up for hummingbirds (feeder, water area, plant) then in the fall switched over to regular bird feeders. Once I had seed feeders I added a baffle for the squirrels. I will purchase another so I can keep the seed feeders in a different location now that it’s time for the hummingbirds. Great product highly recommend!

Actually Holds 5 Bird Feeders

I've had this bird feeding station for about a year. It still looks just as nice as the day I bought it. Installation was easy and its height is perfect (any taller and the pole might sway and bend). I noticed that Lowe's highlighted its capacity to hold 4 feeders, but it actually will hold 5. You can take the finial off the top and use that spot for a pole mounted feeder.

You can use both hangers or just one! Hardware/screws come included. I added 2 green plant poles at the bottom to stabilize the base. It's windy in Florida.

Bird feeder post

Easy to install easy to plant on the ground. Holds up to for heavy bird feeders full of seeds. Only problem is that you have to buy a squirrel deflector but you have to purchase separately other than that I love it

NIce product, easy to put together and seems well made. However, for my particular yard (which is pretty much one big hill) it could use at least two additional sections of pipe.
