Would RecommendI was able to use these to remove the vent stacks protruding through my roof. Per local code here in Florida, I kept one stack on the opposite side of the house but replaced all others with these AAV's. now the solar array will be able to be perfectly square and symmetrical without having to avoid these vents. This is a wonderful solution when you want to limit the amount of through holes in your roof and especially if you're adding solar.

Would RecommendStarted smelling a foul odor in the kitchen and discovered that the Studor Mini-Vent Air Admittance Valve had failed. As far as I can tell, this valve had been under the sink for 21 years. Not Bad! I found the exact same one at Lowes for a replacement, and, if this one lasts as long as the one that was replaced, I won't ever have to replace it again. Easy screw off - screw on replacement, takes up little space, and works great! The kitchen smeels good again!

I needed to purchase this to replace an existing one outside my house where my washing machine drains. When I got to the store it does not include that octagonal cover shown in the photo. Therefore I can’t use it outside; this can only be used interior.

Would RecommendSmall but such a necessity. This eliminated an odor that I could never pinpoint. I did Drano replaced the pee trap, Then a Lowe's associate asked had I ever replaced the Studer vent. Heck, I had no clue what the item, even was, So I replaced all of them in my home just to be sure and this eliminated the issue I was having. This also helps with the flowing and speed of which the sink drains as well. so this is a very important piece to make sure it is working properly.
