Versatile and Innovative Measuring Tape

But after using it for several projects and actually comparing it side by side with my old measuring tape(of a different brand) I was impressed. Heavy duty tape measure

It’s great!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Received tape measure two weeks ago and put it to work the next day. I have to wear reading glasses now,and constantly pull measurements before putting my glasses back on. With this tape I can read the measurements without my glasses. The standout is slightly better than stated, and the larger hook makes it grab and stay put. Very happy with this product. Now if I can just keep it away from my son ,cause he likes it too!

Best of the Best

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Stanley Fatmax is the best of the best. Wide blade is great, it is very comfortable in your hand, extra top clip is a plus, fits the blade very well, but it needs to be a little skinnier, the blade clip is wider than the body of the tape measure, seems to catch on a lot of things when you leave it attached. Great tape to use and own.

Like the feel

Rugged and smooth!

I feel like you could drive a Mack Truck over it and it would work just fine. It sits fine on your belt or in your tool belt without feeling cumbersome. The slide of the tape is very smooth - even after dropping it numerous times. I was only able to get the tape to extend 10'4", slightly below the claimed 11', but I can't say that really bothers me. Very nice tape

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like this tape. Has really nice standout that's convenient on the job, especially when on a ladder. I love the auto-lock when pulling layouts & for drilling roof metal. The option to dis-engage the auto-lock is very nice. I would like to see a better storage for the removable end, it just feels like over time it'll wear out & can get lost. Other than that it's a great tape.

Great Tape measure!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The 30 foot tape measure fits in my hand pretty good. The auto lock feature is great! It is a little heavy but you'll have that with a 30 foot tape measure so it's to be expected. Overall nice tape measure. Definitely recommend.

Easy to use and read

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a Stanley DualLock 25" and the new Fatmax 30" is light years ahead of it on use. The numbers are larger and easier to read on the Fatmax. The extension before the extension collapses is amazing. The DualLock breaks off at a respectable 80" but the Fatmax went to 120" and it still did not collapse. durable tape measure

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the durability of this tape measure. I accidentally knocked it off my workbench with a board and didn't scratch it. You can stretch it out across the room and it doesn't limp or bend. It has a good grip and doesn't slip out of your hand. Stays put and doesn't slide. Great for working solo. Nice large numbers and 1/16 increments. Easy change from auto-lock to regular and I love the auto feature. Made in the U.S.A. Has a hole for a tether ...

A solid, well built tape measure.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using tape measures for over 35 years and the FatMax is one of, if not the best I have ever used. The thick 1.25 blade does not snap and bend like most blades when extended to measure long objects. The tape return is rapid and consistant. Just a top quality tool.

Best tape I own

Awesome tape measure

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this tape measure. It feels extremely solid and looks good too. I used it to mark out a floor plan in a basement and this is one of the first tape measures I’ve used that didn’t bend a ton. I tested it just under 11 ft before it would break or bend. It also has an optional autolock which is great for when working alone but can be turned off as well. Would highly recommend this product

Fat Max 30' tape measure

It is easy to use with a double coated Armor tape is 1 ¼ inches wide blade enabling the 30’ tape to reach out places unmatched before. The tape is encased in the yellow and black ABS plastic can withstand a 25’ fall without any damage. Attached to it is a handy belt clip. It ships with a second end clip that enables the tape to hook onto more objects.
