Feels Good In the hand

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This tape has a great stand-out without having a huge and bulky tape measure housing. I had no problem getting this tape to 11 foot stand out. I do believe the auto lock button is the best new function because you can turn it OFF or leave it on only when you need it. I do like the idea of the extra big hook for grabbing but I think it would be beter if it was not removable.I recommend this tape to anyone who wants an all around good 30 that fit...

Built for the jobsite!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use this everyday on the construction site, and it always performs with ease. The 11' break helps to reach hard to measure areas and the auto lock feature works well and makes easy 1 hand operation. Would definitely recommend!

Heavy duty and great features.

It’s solidly built and easily withstood several tumbles off of an 8ft ladder. The tape itself is nothing to scoff at, either. I was able to extend it about 10ft before it collapsed, which is a handy thing when doing projects by yourself. Solid Tape with Great Features

The auto-lock allows you to set it to full off, or automatic hold. If you want it to function conventionally, slide the lock all the way up, and it will freely slide about with zero drag. DID THE EXTEND OUT TO SEE HOW FAR IT WOULD GO BEFORE BENDING, GOT IT OUT TO 12 FOOT COMPARED TO ANOTHER TAPE MEASURED THAT BENT AT 9 FT. Auto-lock and push-to-retract?! AWESOME!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The only way this measure could be better is if Stanley incorporated the magnetic functionality of another model! The auto-lock feature, that turns the retract switch into a "push-to-retract" button is phenomenal. The tape-end adapter is handy as heck, and should be a standard feature on all tape measures. As always, FATMAX products never disappoint!

Best Tape Ever

A top-of-the-line tool

I will say that the only negative I had with it was the opening of the package. Seriously it is almost impossible to get out of the packaging. Good quality tape measure

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I own a number of Stanley tape measures and this one is the best out of all of them. It positively locks in place, and the removable end is a nice touch. Other Stanley tape measures which auto-lock seem to fail soon after purchasing it.

Perfectly named!

This is a MANS tape measure. it makes the little chrome Stanley tape measure look like a toy. The auto-lock feature is great, too. Why didn't they think of this sooner? The thickness and width of the tape make it easy to measure longer things without a second person. Love this Bad Boy! Can I give it 10 stars?

Best Tape Measure Yet!

Good tool

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like the stand out on it. My only complaint with it would be that when extended over 15 feet, when winding it in, it would stop at around 11 feet. I had to feed it in a foot or 2 and then it would take over on it's own again.

Sturdy one for the job!

It's very sturdy & easy to grip. I noticed that I did have to manually lock it when it was in a vertical position & my hands were not on the tape, as gravity pulled the tape down.
