Great tape measure!

It stays put when I’m measuring and is very useful for projects. I would highly recommend it to other that want a high quality tape measure.

Strong

Stays straight

Multiple design flaws

I've had the tape measure for a little over a year now, it just sits in my garage because I won't grab it anymore. Pros: Stanley makes a great blade for the tape measure, great standoff, hook end hasn't bent. Now for the Cons: 1. the "baseball" like shape makes it too bulky for the hand and doesn't fit the tool apron tape holster. 2. The thumb lock gets stuck, requires intense pressure from both hands to get it released. 3. MY BIGGEST ISSUE, they applied that rounded shape to the bottom of the c...

Great tape measure

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had been using another brand's 16' locking tape measures, but they finally gave way. Switched to the Fat Max 25', and after a few weeks of use, went out and bought a second. The reach is very helpful too. Glad I decided to give it a try.

Great solid tape measure!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I forgot my tape measure at home and stopped at my local home center and purchased this Fatmax, I took a gamble on to Price this job out. Keep in mind I’m a small business trying to survive. All I can say is this is my new go to tape. I love this tape measure it is very smooth and sturdy. Solid is the word of choice to all my coworkers. I will keep my lufkin tape as a back up tape from now on.

Only tape I use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Stanley Fat Max tapes are the only tape measures worth using and what I use professionally and at home. The only thing that I’m disappointed in, is that i can’t find the Fat Max Extreme versions anymore. Wish Stanley would bring these back as they were the best...are you listening guys?

Holds up and easily to read

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this tape measure a year ago. I use it regularly and it has held up well even after falling from a ladder a few times. The tape still has retained its strength when held out without support. The yellow tape with large numbers is easy to read.

good to work with

Excellent Tape Measure

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Good feeling tape and really well built. It has held up to a lot of drops and bad conditions and still works fine. I wish Stanley would make an autolock that feels like this one.

Strong enough to do the job!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What I like about this tape measure is it easy read numbers and its ability to reach out about 7 feet without bending. It has a strong belt clip which makes it an easy reach when needed. Also, the bright yellow color makes it easy to find when I place it in a cluttered area.

This tape is great

It doesn’t sag when spanning long distances like cheaper made tapes will. Quality construction and durable. I’ve dropped mine several times and it still functions great!

Great for one person measuring

this product is fantastic, the ease of measuring is great. reliable, rugged, durable and overall fantastic. Drop it, and it is OK, measure with one hand fantastic

Fat max hands down best tape there is
