Great Automatic Feature

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the automatic locking feature of the Stanley Dual Lock 25' Tape Measure (STHT360310). It works the opposite of the standard locking tapes. Instead of pushing to lock, you push to release! You pull the tape out and it stays out until you release it, or rock the latch the other way to lock it down even tighter. I also like the hole on the bottom rear corner. I use it to attach a cord to pull the tape measure out of the pocket of my shop...

Works great

Had it for a few months of light use. Big fan, works all the time and like the locking mechanism.

Graduations rub off.

I liked the dual lock in theory when I first used it. However, within a few weeks the locking mechanism dragging on the tape rubbed off the graduation marks. It is difficult to read eighths on the first 2 feet of tape now.

Dual lock makes one person measuring easy

Great for measuring longer distances. Dual lock capability allows hands free marking and helps when measuring by yourself.

Measurement Magnifico!

This tape measure is so handy to use for measuring spaces-walls-projects around the house. It is less cumbersome than most tape measures!

STANLEY TAPE MEASURE

Very good product. This tape measure is well built and easily locks and unlocks.

Good tool

I like this because it is self locking. That is the only type I buy now. I have several of these in my shop and they work great. I have other brands too, but the tape creeps back into the housing. This is not the case with this tape measure. The price is really good too. I would recommend this tape to anyone needing a tape measure.

Too short

The tape is way too short. The one I use is cloth and 50 ft, therefore inaccurate. I need a 50 ft metal tape.

DualLock Adds Ease to Measuring

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have been using my new DualLock 25' Stanley Tape. The tape size allows easy fit and retrieving from my tool belt. The DualLock frees up a hand to help in measuring projects and really like that the tape stays without having to secure thru a lock. When needed the lock is very easy to engage and use.
