Great for wet areas , gardens pools , anywhere that there is splashing water or during rain storms. Hard thick plastic box and complies with code in nfc section 406 . Definitely recommend.

Keeps my plugs dry!

We had a big rain storm after it was installed but no worries, my plugs stayed nice and dry. It has a firmly locking cover and since it is clear I can see through the cover. Bees often like to get inside these types of covers so I will be able to see if any get inside before opening the cover. Overall, a high quality product.

This cover protects your outdoor receptacle from the outdoor elements while looking very attractive. This cover meets our building codes and is very durable. The cover is able to be locked with a padlock if you need to do so. Great product.

Shortly after I installed it, we had a good rain and it stayed dry the entire time. It opens and closes pretty easily and the tools needed were something that everyone has at their home. For my personal use I found it to be too shallow for the plugs I was looking to plug in. I would prefer a deeper version if available it would make it more versatile as far as what you could leave plugged in and protected from the elements.

Works Great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the Square D - 1G WEATHERPROOF CLR COVER VERT MOUNT UNIVERSAL for outside. The cover fits perfect over the receptacle. It has a plastic cover that open and closes and at the bottom of the lid is a notch perfect for fitting the cord into. This was very easy to install.

We installed this on our detached garage to plug our pool pump into. We also use for extension cords for various things. Excellent, quality product and I will be buying again. Definitely recommend
