Keeps leaves and such out. All of the rain water doesn’t go into the gutters but over the gutter guards and down the side of the gutters and house.

Completely worthless
Would Not RecommendI bought several pieces of these guards to test before buying the 60 pieces I needed to complete the job onmy house. Went with this brand because they were cheap and easy to install.. big mistake. Hooked up water hose and ran medium flow on roof. Screen mesh on guards are so small water mostly just flowed over guards and down the side of house. Don't wastyour time and money.☹️

Would Not RecommendIf you don't mind some water flowing right over the top, resulting in a running heavy drip below all along the gutter, then these are OK. They are easy to install and keep the gutters clean. However, since there are no drainage holes along the lower 1/2", rain water builds up along that edge and drips heavily below, especially in a downpour. Not nice when you are standing at the back door.

Would Not RecommendAs others have stated, this gutter guards work great at keeping leaves and debris out of your gutters. Unfortunately, they also keep the water out as well. The water streams over the guard defeating the purpose of having gutters. We've replaced these plastic guards with the powder coated metal guards which work great. Lowes needs to pull this product from the shelf and find a design that actually functions as it should.
