Good Strippers

Awesome stripper!

I'm not usually a fan of combination tools but I like that the wire stripper also has a cable cutter, well most do nowadays, but this is a bit more heavy duty than other strippers of this size able to cut coax cable with ease. It was very comfortable in the hand and very light in my tool belt. A winner!

Good basic wire stripper

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A well-made tool for stripping insulation from common wire gauge sizes. Straight cutters are sharp and cut cleanly. Spring-loaded handles are the standard length and may be a little short for some.

Compact and light.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] With so many types and manufacturers of hand tools for the electrical industry out there, I was reluctant to try another pair of wire strippers. But to my surprise, this wire stripper is the best that I have used so far in my 30+ years in the trade. It stripped the insulation off of the wire with precision. Others would have issues as far as "cleanly" removing the insulation. Great investment.

A Enjoyable Tool to Use!

Stripper portion performed perfectly - very sharp, cuts through insulation easily, and the openings seemed to be sized perfectly (you'd be surprised at those that are not...). Good fit and seem well built

I espically like the fact that when you clamp down on a wire to strip it you don't have to ring the tool back and forth around the wire to strip it. you just clamp down on the wire and it cuts the insulation all around the wire. and strips off the insulation cleanly. Excellent

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Don't know what else to say except that these are great. I use them for work at public utility. I use them on a daily basis it leaves a clean wire strip which works great with crimps. Also very easy on the hands. The only drawback is the 24 awg is sometimes hit and miss but this is not a deal breaker for me. Would highly recommend especially if you do a lot of wire stripping.

Marginally adequate

However it is limited to just that, whereas I have used similar tools that also crimp and can shear machine screws. I like the compact size, though this sacrifices some leverage. And the handles could stand to have a little more cushion for comfort. Also would prefer American made rather than made in China.

Great Tool

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very impressed with these wire strippers out of the package. Handles are very comfortable, strippers were sharp and tight. I tried them on various size wires that the strippers were designed to strip and cut with absolutely no problems.
