What Customers Are Saying
The product appears to have mixed reviews. Some customers found it affordable, compact, and effective for running wires through tight spaces for home projects, especially for shorter runs. However, many reported issues with the tape jamming or breaking after limited use, making it difficult to wind and unwind. The product may work for basic, short-term home projects, but its quality and durability seem inconsistent, and it may not be suitable for more demanding or frequent use.

Would RecommendAfter searching several stores, Lowes offered an excellent quality product at a very reasonable price. While I bought it for a specific project, I have already found more ways to use it, so it has become even more valuable!
Steel fish tape
Would RecommendWould have given it 5 start is it came with instruction on how to get the tape out the first time.
240'
Would Not RecommendOur company decided to give this fish tape a try and it's garbage it should only be sold in 10' length because when you get to your first 90 it's all over. It does not have enough strength to push threw it. It's not a good fish tape stick to the metal or fiberglass one. I would not recommend this to anyone. The videos on YouTube are all lies.

Another China Product from Lowes
Would RecommendLooks good but a little flimsy when used after 15 feet. Too bad that Lowe's can't support American Made products more than they do China. So sad.

I've pulled it out to 22 and a half feet then pulled it back in with no problems. Worked perfectly! for just under $13 most homeowners would have no problems with this fish tape great deal, great price, I'm tired of borrowing fish t...
Saves time
Would RecommendI tried for almost an hour feeding wire the hard way. Got this fish tape, and was done in less than 2 minutes. I liked the wider tape with the nice end.
Poor Quality
Would Not RecommendHad to purchase this to finish a job. Only got a few feet out and it bound up. I took it apart to get the job done and threw it away. I purchased it because of the low price, and I got what I paid for, a cheaply built item. I do not recommend.

Great Product For The Money
Would RecommendI was having great difficulty running HDMI cables through the wall to my newly mounted 4k TV. After great frustration, I went to the local Lowe's and looked for the cheapest fish tape I could find and purchased this product. My only regret was that I didn't do it sooner. Within 10 minutes I had both HDMI cables through the wall and connected. I'm not an electrician, nor will I use this tool very often, but when I do need it I'll be glad I have it in my toolbox.
Trash!
Would Not RecommendTrash! That's all I can say. Bought to fish some electrical wires behind a wall. Could barely reel out 6 feet. Then it binds up and casing wants to pull apart and no more tape would come out. I don't know how you even would get the advertise 25 feet out. Waste of $12.
Bill, we apologize for the issue you have had with our fish tape. Please call our customer service team at 1-855-798-6657 so that we can handle this ...
Great product!
Would RecommendHad no issues using this fish tape to run HDMI cables behind my wall to hang my TV. Great quality, and provides just enough give to properly get through withougt a problem. Five stars.
We are so happy to hear you are satisfied with your purchase. We appreciate your feedback!
Good Value, But...
Would RecommendI've used this three times, each time pulling cable through PVC conduit. The tape feeds through the conduit nicely, so that was good, However, the first two times I ran into a feed out and retract issue with the thing. I couldn't easily get the tape to feed out 20 feet, nor retract back onto the spool all the way. I did, as another reviewer suggested he did, take the thing apart, rewind and then the third time it worked fine. So there is a design/quality check issue, making ease of use a bit off...
Works but....
Would RecommendThe tape itself is good. very stiff and went right under the carpet. The problem was it would not unroll all the way. I ended up taking it apart and rewinding the entire 25' tape back into the case. Now it works fine.
