Works great, easy to install
Would RecommendI installed a wide set of stairs with four stringers and installation of all 4 of these were a breeze. I used the recommended 1½ screws and they did seem to gap the stringer from frame enough that there's a gap but structurally there's no issue. If you don't want a srew head gap between stringer and frame use the recommended nails instead.

Are 8 screws required to attach to header??
Would RecommendDo you actually need 8 #9 x 1-1/2-in screws to attach this bracket to the header board for 4 steps? Maybe for more? And they are not countersunk so the stair stringers do not sit flush against the header board. Ok, so when you install the steps you don't see it, but still. The Simpson screws are also not cheap, $14./100. Don't need 100. And the pdf instructions here are worthless. I don't need them but for those that do here: https://www.buildsite.com/pdf/simpsonstrongtie/LSC-Adjustable-Stringer-...
