What Customers Are Saying
The self-leveling floor product has mixed results. Some customers found it easy to use and effective at leveling uneven floors, while others experienced significant issues with the product not self-leveling as expected, being too thick or gritty, and resulting in an uneven final surface. Proper mixing and following the instructions closely is crucial for achieving good results. The product quality may be inconsistent, and larger projects can be labor-intensive. Overall, the product seems to work well for some customers but has quality control and usability issues that lead to frustration and poor results for others.

Would Not RecommendI used the Sika not a long time before. Everything went fine. But last week- the Sika was drying 3 days! In laundry room in a basement on dry concrete floor. Thet's not all- I allways using methods described by manufacturer. Mesuring water, mixing time and such.. So, the prepared mixture separated into sand and liquid. There was no turnover after that (as there should have been). The sand remained where I poured it. and the liquid, after drying, turned white and smelled like chalk. It's like put...

Worked Perfectly
Would RecommendI'm a DIYer, never done anything like this in my life. We are renovating our shed which had a laughably unlevel and inconsistently unlevel floor. Cleaned it thoroughly, primed it, had five people as a crew to mix the next bag while I was pouring and leveling with a spiked roller and a trowel. Used exactly the same amount as written on the bag. I had to gently nudge the liquified mixture into corners, and would regularly check with a laser level. Totally worked. I put in my subflooring the day af...

Good product for cost.
Would RecommendI'm a do it yourselfer so no great expertise with floor leveling products. However, I did a smaller room with Mapei and a much larger area with Sika. I think the Mapei was a little easier to work with and it left a nicer finish. The Sika did give a level surface and the cost was almost half so I would use it again.

brutal for diy'ers
Would Recommendit does the job described. however, if you havent already had experience working with self levelers, give this another thought. This is unforgiving stuff and very easy to screw up
Great
Would RecommendEasy to use, sets in good time

Not really self leveling
Would Not RecommendI am a pretty dang handy lay-construction guy. But, this was my first time using this product, so I'll acknowledge that I did not possess the artistic skills needed to make it right. However, it is NOT self-leveling. Even step 4 of the instructions says, "level". My floor is worse from having used this and my project will now take longer. Literally, my floor is less level. I suspect this product takes some real skill to actually level. I would not recommend it at all. If you haven't gotten to p...
Worse product ever used
Would Not RecommendMixed the product to specs on the bag (1 gallon water per 50lb bag) in a standard bucket. Product hardened in bucket within 5 minutes of mixing and was unspreadable let alone self leveling within the time it took to carry the bucket from the garage to the bathroom floor. Would give zero stars if I could because now I’m out a $30 bag a $10 bucket and have to dispose of a 50lb solid weight somewhere.
Add one gallon of water to the entire bag.
Would Not RecommendNeed to let is sit and still comes out gritty

Clumpy and doesn't flow well
Would Not RecommendMixed per instructions with the exact water ratio very gritty product and found almost have to force it to flow. Reminds me of a Wendy's frosty. Now need to do another skim coat as have low spots 1/8" in areas. will go back to level quick, cost more a few dollars more but flows, mixes and pours so much better. Other rooms looked like glass. sika looks like the beach its flatish but gritty.
