Nice but a bit noisy
This microwave replaced a large, over the cooktop microwave. It looks nicer on the countertop than I thought. The only issue I have is the noise level. It makes a rattling noise when it starts and then on and off rattling during a run.

Stopped working after six months
Would Not RecommendWe bought this Sharp 2.2 Countertop Microwave six months ago and just stopped working. After opening the door to heat up some food and closing the door it beeped showed zeros and then shutdown. I have tried the troubleshooting steps for this microwave and still nothing. I have opened a support ticket with Sharp and I will see what happens. This replace a Kenmore Elite that was more than 22 years old and did not last.

Solid and well built.
Product is very well manufactured and very easy to use. This product is replacing microwave that I've had for over 40 years also manufactured by Sharp. It still worked when I replaced it. However, the seal on the door was damaged and I could not find replacement parts for a 40 plus year old appliance.
