Reliable unit and exact size
We recently remodeled out kitchen and removed the large GE microwave mounted over the stove. It was cumbersome to reach and potentially unsafe over a hot stove. We purchased the counter-top Sharp microwave which was smaller and had the perfect size footprint for being housed on our counter and being non-obtrusive. It does the trick for all of our microwaving needs !

Longest Lasting Microwave
My Sharp Microwave I purchased in 2007, and have been using ever since, recently stopped working. So, of course I wanted to purchase another Sharp Microwave. The new microwave has about the same features except for a shorter cord, different dimensions and no longer comes in black but is stainless. This microwave works great and I'm sure it will last for many years.

Solid for the Price
Fit my kitchen remodel space well. The unit is quieter than I expected and MUCH quieter than the Samsung I returned. The +30 second button is a must have. I am not a fan of the need to select Cook Time and then entering a time. If you select a number it automatically does that number of minutes. This is counterintuitive to my way of thinking at least. My kids are older so they understand but the thought of them hitting a number like 5 and it just running for 5 minutes with food inside is a bit w...
