The stem replacement kit is simple to install. It fixed both an internal leak and external leak. Seems like a better part than was originally in my shutoff valve.

Would Not RecommendI was hoping the SharkBite Multi-turn replacement kit would fix my non-working shut-off valve. It did not, it leaked profusely. I ended up fixing mine with a BrassCraft stem. Comparing the stems you can see the tip is different. In the attached photo, the one on the right is the BrassCraft, the rubber washer is also different. Hopefully this will save someone some time.
