Would RecommendThis is the easiest trimmer head to re-thread. The heads last about 3-4 yrs for me and this is my 3rd. This is much easier to use than any "bump & feed" trimmer head. Its the best type replacement head to use in my opinion.

Would RecommendI've been using an older version of the Shakespeare trimmer head for close to 10 years now. It has been flawless and makes trimming so much easier. I can pre cut several strands prior to starting and replace them in seconds on the fly. In fact (although I'm sure the manufacturer would not recommend it) I can actually replace the strings without shutting off the motor. No more bumping and winding!

String flies out of head
Would Not RecommendThe included string (and other string I've purchased) fly out of the head at full rpm. Bought a PivotTrim Pro instead and would recommend that over this.

Would Not RecommendWHEN I TRIED TO REPLACE THE HEAD BY THE SHAKESPEARE I BOUGHT, FOUND OUT THAT IT DID NOT FIT AT ALL AS THE ONE KOBALT TRIMMER HAVE IS A DIFFERENT MODEL, THANKFULLY I HAVE A MARINE FRIEND AND NEIGHBOR AND HE WAS ABE TO DO THE EXTRAORDINARY AND HAD TO BUY A NEW SCREW AND BOLT AS THE ONES IN THE PGE. DID NOT FIT. BAD, BAD EXPERIENCE.
