Good Replacement for Poulan Pro PPB40T

While the directions could have been better, having replaced the head a number of times before I know the drill. Have used the unit 5 times since purchase with no issues. I installed this on a Poulan Pro PPB40T. Have never been able to find OEM part, so have used others replacement heads. I like the ease of installing the line.

Problems with line feed

Replaced one that was several years old and worn out. After only several uses I started having difficulty getting the line to feed. Tried using WD40 and other remedies until unit was unusable. Very frustrating! Old trimmer lasted for years.

Finally! A wire feed head that was easy to install on my Makita weed eater. And it works well!

Needs shaft extension

This product needs an adapter shaft which isn’t mentioned in the description several nuts and bolts are supplied with the head and are worthless with the application I need 🙃🙃🙃

Shakespeare Universal Fit Push-N-Load String Trim

This is nice concept, but changing the strings on this is difficult; you really have to push the buttons and it hurts your fingers. After about 3-4 years I was no longer able to insert string trimmer line into the holes, I could still depress the buttons but could not get the string to go in, seems to have broken.
