Would Not RecommendHad this trimmer head for about 3 years and while the blades wouldn't last too long when cutting next to the fence line, they did a decent job. HOWEVER, when I wanted to make the transition back to using the trimmer head that came with my trimmer (Stihl FS40C) I found that there are absolutely NO instructions on how to remove the head to swap it out. Would RecommendI got tired of the trimmer line getting hot and sticking to itself, thus failing to feed no matter how I bumped the head (and yes, it's line sold at Lowe's!) I have a gas powered Weed Eater and was skeptical about whether or not this would fit, but I gambled and (for once!) it paid off. Best suited for light brush, the blades wear fairly well as long as you don't push them too far. They're sturdy enough to knock a sprinkler head off if you're not careful, which I wasn't. Would RecommendGreat product for the price. I purchased this as a last option before I rented a brush cutter. Although i broke a few of the replacable cutters this certainly mowed through some heavy brush and vines. Basically wont cut anything over 1/4-3/8”. Everthing else just cut right through. Great product. Used with my Echo Trimmer
