Doesn't Fit

Bought this as it listed toro trimmers. Wasted my time taking trimmer head off to discover supplied mounting hardware doesn't work with my trimmer. Thumbs down.

Design flaw

I loved this product the one time I got to use it. However, the nut is seated in a plastic mold, which was stripped the first time used, and there is no way to repair this plastic. I contacted the company / importer, w/ no response. Waste of money.

It works great. Took it out to my lease to do some work. Now it is not design to cut trees. But it cut through grass and small brush with no problem.

Does not fit

The package said it specifically fit my Craftsman but it did not fit at all.

Won't fit all straight shaft weed eaters.

There is nothing on the list that tells exactly which, what or who's weed eater these will fit. It is a joke to get one that will fit just any gas powered weed eater and know which one to buy to get it to work.

I wish I would have known about this unit much sooner. It cuts through 1 inch thick blackberry bush stocks like it was butter. The unit is very easy to interchange with the regular weedeater modual.

Great blade, nuts dont fit and will cross thread

Cut thru all the thick grass and vine i had around the yard. Small branches can be cut in a matter of seconds. Would buy again but need to find a better nut to fit trimmer as it is not meant for craftsman even tho it says it is.

Easy to install, this is a great tool For cleanup of overgrown areas of my land. 10/10

Didn’t fit my trimmer even though it is listed on the package. Disappointed because I had some work for it.

Bought this to hopefully end the agony that is installing string in my Husqy straight-shaft. Instructions were a little unclear, and the owners manual for the weed wacker was a little unclear as to how to remove the old head as well. Finally got this installed, and let it rip on some 3’ grass. This works great on just grass, but once you hit a rock, the dirt, or a sapling, the blades bend and it becomes essentially worthless. Fits 99% of trimmers, not the one I bought.

Bought this for my bolens 25cc straight shaft trimmer, on the packaging it says fits bolens. Doesn't fit this trimmer, none of the bolts are the appropriate size.even if they were, since the entire housing for the string can't be removed it wouldn't work anyway. Nice of Lowe's to let people know what will and won't work on their products. After this order and my last from Lowe's I don't think I'm going to deal with them anymore.

Shakespeare Brush Cutter

The brush cutter looks good....BUT...the bolts that are included don't fit every trimmer model....which in my case is a Bolens 25cc. So, it's wasted money. Beware....!

Tree cutter

This worked really well to cut down hundreds of pine trees that I had on the acre of land around a pond. The trees varied from 1/4 inch to 3 inch in diameter. It would easily cut through anything less than 1", and it also cut the larger trees with a little bit of nibbling to get through. These were pine so they were easy to cut through. May not work as well in oak trees.

Saved $150 bush hog rental

So I bought this attachment to go on a Echo PE225 Edger because my back corner of my yard and had gotten way out of control..and heck I barely even use my edger around the house so i thought might as well give it a shot.. didnt know if it would work or not but figured why not take a chance.. all I have to lose is a little time. Great for cutting back brush!

Cut through even the thickest 2-3 inch brush. I have 10 acres, 2 cleared and am pushing back the brus. Between my pole pruner and this, it has been an easy job. This cuts through the thorned vines like butter!

Amazing!

Probably the best trimmer head I've used. Easy install, VERY durable. Makes quick work of thick brush even with a low power engine. I love this thing!
