Hard to open.
Would Not RecommendThe safe appears to be sturdy. However, it is very difficult to open. Once the security code is entered, one must “push down” on the lid while engaging the latch by pulling up. I have great difficulty doing that and find it cumbersome. Requires my son to open the unit for me. I will continue to try opening the safe without assistance, but fear I will have problems. Perhaps this design flaw can be reworked. I’m sure other females have the same issue.

Purchase of Home Safe
