Would RecommendGreat safe for price, well constructed, excellent online regisration process. This may not hold the family jewels but it will protect documents agiainst the most likely of perils, gore and water damage.

Gasket expands and safe wont open
Would Not RecommendSafe worked fine for a few months, then the lock would not open, changed batteries--it was like the latch was stuck. I called SentrySafe and explained the issue and immediately the rep said "oh the gasket has expanded" like this wasn't the first time they'd heard the issue. She suggested putting "something heavy on top like a cast iron pot for 24 hours" to fix it. of course that did not. No way to fix this and can't get a refund.

Safe & Secure
Would RecommendLarge enough to protect important documents from fire & theft. Not easy for a theif to work out how to break. No keys is a big plus. Only issue is that the default password wasn't on the manual, as described.

Extremely hard to open
Would Not RecommendI’ve had the safe for over a year now and it’s now a huge project trying to open it. Sometimes I’m there 5-10 mins entering the code and pressing the release hatch before it decides to open. I would not purchase again

Would RecommendIt took several attempts to initially open the safe. However, afterwards we were able to open it and reset the cod.

Would RecommendThe button to open it is pretty difficult to open the safe. You have to be above the safe to get the right grip to open it.
