Tape and paper dispenser

Was great to use - very easy.; never got tangled and the guys that used it too said it worked without a hitch.

Good Idea

Received the free sample and found the dispenser worked very well!

speed tape

I received my free dispenser and put it to the test as soon as I possibly could. It worked well and made doing the trim a lot easier. The only problem I had, and it was probably me more than the dispenser, I went crooked every so often and had to straighten.

Faster than doing it by hand

Received this as a test product and did get to try it out the first week I received it to paint my bedroom. I was pleased at the speed I could mask off areas to prevent drips and run over. It works well as either just a tape layer or with the tape and paper. Don't rush and it does a great job.

practical

Hi Im a pro painter and I always have use the 3m masking paper for all my jobs. But know that Im been working as a handyman to this is very convenient and practical because I don't have to carry a big masking paper roll all the time. the only thing is that the blade is a little bit small or to precise but I guess this has to be like that because of gov regulations but over all is a very good small tol to have. thanks scotch blue for this opportunity. ( I also like your new tapes)

Easy to Use

I got this in the mail as a sample. Turns out I needed to use it a few days later. It worked well and I was pleased with it. I would recommend this to others.

Great for making a big job not so big

The tape and papaer dispenser worked well and made taping off the area easy.

I used this and it worked well. I had a living room to do and it reduced the prep time greatly

I received a free sample of this product. Only problem was I had to go out and buy the tape and paper for it. It would have been nice to be able to use it when I received it.

dual tape dispenser

This dispenser has two separate hubs that will fit specific types of tape. One hub is 3 inches and narrow to fit Scotch Blue tape. The other hub is about 3/4 inch and wide to fit paper or other tapes. A typical use might be to place two tapes on a wall to make painting stripes of multiple colors much easier.

Missing the Tape and Paper

It was nice that 3M sent me a free sample to try, but it didn't include everything needed to actually sample the product. It's a great idea, but it should come with everything needed to use it and then sell refills.

Our living room looks fantastic

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We were so excited to paint our living room teal, and three days ago, my fiance and I set out to do it ourselves. First, he used Scotch blue to protect the window, ceiling, and floor from paint. I couldn't believe how fast he was able to apply the tape. We painted away. I wondered how the tape would hold up, and part of me worried that if the teal paint seeped through, it would be a nightmare to get off. Fortunately, that was not the case. When...

Makes quick work of masking

This dispenser makes it really easy to tape masking paper to walls and trim. I wish I had come across it long time ago--much faster than cutting paper then putting tape on it. The only negative I saw was that the paper wasn't really easy to cut with the blade (or I didn't have the right technique going), but that was a minor problem compared to the time saved.
