It's been great

A lot of the reviews were not good on getting the rebate that is offered with this range, but after multiple try's with trying to submit and being denied I finally called the rebate number and got excellent help was sent the information I needed to order my cookware. Any body having rebate problems call the rebate number. I really like this range it works beautifully and easy clean, worth the price.

Great range, good value, weird music

Love the induction cooktop, the ability to lock the buttons, knob, and door (to protect against toddlers), and the price is right. Hate the songs it plays when the timer goes off or when the oven reaches temperature. (And you can't change the sounds it makes to more traditional beeps.)

Cheap plastic control knobs

Bought this range at Lowe’s in October. We like the induction feature and the oven by why put cheap plastic knobs that look like metal? I just spent an hour on line with Samsung and finally they’ll ship one to me.3 weeks without a knob! Lots of on line complaints about these knobs. They should send out a replacement set with each purchase. What else did they cheap out on???

DEAD in 5 weeks CANNOT RETURN!

Electrician connected - Everything was fine we loved the range until yesterday when the breaker tipped and smoke came out from back of the grill. That's exactly 5 weeks after purchase and Lowes only offer 48-hrs return now we have to go thru the 1-yr manufactory warranty doing multiple calls, email, having 3rd party company diagnose, repair and claim. How dare Samsung putting out products like this??!

Poor oven temperature control

The first time we baked cookies they burned. I used a digital thermometer to check temperature. Set to 350 it heated to 406. Cooled to 323 before the element came back on. Samsung support said it is normal for the oven to take 45 min to an hour to stabilize. The repair tech said it is a simple on/off control and was within +/- 15 degrees after 45 min which is in spec. Samsung saved a few dollars by not using a proportional controller. Do not purchase if you do any baking.

Delivery change

Appliance was fine no issues at all. The only issue was the driver called me at 7AM to inform me the delivery time I requested after 5PM was changed by management and was the next stop. I made that request so I would be there after work but was able to call my son to be there sense the only other option was to reschedule..

Completely stopped working in 3 days

This was to replace a gas range so had to hire electrician to put in a plug. Installed on Saturday. Wednesday morning I went to boil water and it was dead. Loews did refund us and we bought a Frigidaire. Hopefully that will work. What is going on with appliances lately? I will say that while this was working it was great. First time with induction stove and I really like it.

Broke within the first month!

Good luck getting any repair service! I am so sorry I bought this range!! I won't be buying anything from Samsung or Lowes ever again!!!

I wanted to try an induction stove before paying several thousand for one. Picked this up as a starter for the next couple of years. Some of the reviewers are correct that the burner layout is a little strange with the one large size on the right and the smaller one on the left, you get used to it. Both are large enough to cook using any normal size pan.
