[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] At first it was a little hard to use cuz the directions wasnt good at explaining things but once i moved the charger dock to a different area it seems to be working alot better, i love this vacum, i know longer need to vacum and my cats are not scared either, they hate loud noises

Helpful little bot

I love my Powerbot R7070. At first, I compromised between R7040 and R7070. Because R7070 has double power than R7040, I decided to get R7070, and it was a smart choice. I just got this out of the box and it has already been amazing! This thing is picking up small dog hairs left behind by my old traditional vacuum.

Incredible suction power

I've had other robot vacuma before, but I can definitely say this is the best one by far. The app makes it super convenient to set schedules and to tell it how hard to vacuum a certain surface. So you don't even have to be at home to tell it to clean! The screen on the 7070 model makes it much easier to read than other models also. Smart home

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently got this vacuum to replace my old roomba, and the performance difference is incredible. My old roomba only went once around my house but the Samsung R7070 covers the entire house multiple times until it finally runs out of battery and goes back to charge.

Great Features That Never Work

This vacuum has great suction and touts some pretty great smart features, but good god the software is a pile of flaming garbage. I would NOT recommend this to anyone who wants to incorporate it into a smart home. It only connects to the new app about 15% of the time. It hasn't been able to provide a map of where it cleans in months. Integrating this vacuum into your smart home is difficult at best, even using a SmartThings hub. The hardware itself isn't exactly robust either.

Best guest ever!!

We have two cats and keep our house spotless!! Well we thought we keep it spotless after getting our R7070 pet vacuum we could not believe how much hair was hidden. This vacuum is so amazing we bought a second one for up stairs after the first week. You do have to clean the filter and empty the dust or hair collector each time but you do that with a smile on your face. We have not had it long enough to tell you maintenance problems but so far my wife and I both are very impressed.

Sent it back

Hated it. I have wood and tile floors throughout my house and thought this would be a good vacuum. I do have a few area rugs. it would climb over them no problem, except it would eat up my area rugs. It would fill the bin with pieces of the rug and then would scatter them over the rest of the house. Horrible!

Excellent Product

Just received the vacuum today. Unpack-aging to setup took about 15 min using a Samsung phone and the Smart Things app. Initial charge took approximately 2 hours. Initiated Auto-Clean and the Vacuum went straight to work. Vacuumed my 2 bedroom apartment in about 1 hour and returned to the base to recharge. Awesome for pet hair. Suction power

I have anxiously awaited this purchase and compared to like robot vac's on the market. Reviewing consumer reviews and comparing the features available, the Samsung by far is the best buy. I can see a big difference is using this vac. Recent remodeling in house and was seeing dust after cleaning. This vacuum's scheduling capability has allowed me to reduce my time spent cleaning/dusting floors. I have tile, hardwood and rugs on floors and no adjustment is needed.
